Rude and Inconsiderate Doctor
Dr. Janku was very rude and inconsiderate. He cancelled my first appointment without any reason and made up an excuse when I asked him about it. He decided to spam call my family members instead of me to inform them that I needed to be at an appointment hours ahead of the scheduled time since it was 'inconvenient' to him. He also refused to provide me with a translator during the appointment. He also did not provide very much details about his thoughts and thought I was 'dreaming' things.

As painful as his recommendation was, it took me time to fully grasp his deep commitment to his craft and overall professionalism. Thanks to Dr. Janku I'm 100% pain free in my left knee and will be planning a visit soon for my right??????????

Surgery did not solve problem
Dr. Janku very quickly suggested a surgery that only made my knee problem worse. If he had taken more time I would have avoided two years of pain that another surgeon fixed. Lesson learned. Always always get a second opinion

I am in my fifties and over the course of a year, I had to have both hips replaced. Dr. Janku was exceptional. He met with me and thoroughly explained everything that would happen, he followed up with phone calls and answered an email question I had. He followed my instructions about who I wanted informed regarding my procedure. Thanks to him I no longer have the excruciating hip pain that was diminishing my life. I would trust him with any future surgery.

It has been exactly 6 weeks since my THR. My advice is to do your research in advance to the extent you can so that you come armed with questions. In my case, he recommended a second opinion doctor and was timely in answering my emails, once with a phone call. Perhaps it?s the patient, and certainly the doctor plays a pivotal role, but my recovery has very smooth. I was prepared for the worst. At my post-surgical visit with Dr. Janku yesterday,he said my recovery was ?well ahead of the curve.?
