Dr. George Chuang, DO

Ron and I went to Dr. Chuang for a full health assessment (physical, mental, cognitive) for Ron. Chuang told Ron and me that Ron was healthy, having no major health issues, concerns. Telling Ron and me that he, Chuang, could not go against another doctor at Kaiser, that he had to protect himself over, above patients. Eleven days later, Ron died suddenly. Chuang told me not to have an autopsy done on Ron, but I did. Autopsy (and last Kaiser notes on Ron that Kaiser did not disclose to Ron and me) showed that Ron “was a very sick man” and that Kaiser, Chuang chose to ignore all Ron’s , and my, complaints, causing Ron’s sudden death, per pathologist. Kaiser always told me I was overreacting. Chuang told Ron and me that we simply had to accept Ron’s issues as part of aging, nothing major of concern. CHUANG LIED, CAUSING DEATH!!! AND TO POTENTIALLY HOW MANY MORE PATIENTS? IF YOU HAVE LOVED ONES: STAY AWAY FROM CHUANG OR MY WORDS COULD BE YOURS!!! LOTS OF OTHER DOCTORS TO CHOOSE.

Dr. Chuang is not very informative, validating, or helpful in preventative and overall care. He routinely denied my requests for simple, cheap blood tests with no, or faulty, logic. He did not dig into my healthcare issues to seek answers. He actively dismissed ongoing issues. He has not been a good advocate as a healthcare provider and it really feels as though he is personally invested in Kaiser spending as little as possible on each patient, from blood tests to meds. That is generally a problem within Kaiser but he does this to an unusual level. He is also not very responsive overall. I highly recommend you seek another PCP as he is generally not helpful or invested in patient health.
