I was admitted in to Scripps Green Hospital. I have Spinal Muscular Atrophy and require the use of a Non-Invasive Ventilator due to respiratory failure while I sleep. I was admitted as a potential Covid19 patient. The minute I was under his care, he was extremely on edge! When my father asked if I could put on my NIV, he yelled at my dad "No! They told you that downstairs.” When my dad tried to explain what the emergency room actually told us and why I need my NIV, Dr. Baehr threatened to call security. Dr. Baehr tried to have me transferred to ICU. I don’t know what they said to him, but yelled "Fine! You obviously are not going to help me!” Not once did Dr. Baehr enter my room. He was so adamant about not risking his nurses, but they were the ONLY ONES coming in and still doing what they have dedicated and taken an oath to do! Thankfully an hour later another doctor took over my care. In times like this, Dr. Baehr isn’t cutout for his job. (I will be cross posting this review)

I went into Urgent Care d/t immense pain radiating from my ulnar side. Literally described word for word the pain and my speculation of a pinched or misplaced nerve. Mind you, I work in acute care and am familiar with Dx/anatomy etc. He shrugged my opinions and told me it was carpal tunnel, told me to get xrays, and excused me with a wrist brace. After arriving back home from my pediatric conference at UCSD my PCP tells me that it was literally a pinched nerve in my brachial plexus and laughs at the fact that someone Dx it as carpal tunnel. Anywho - this guy tells me the wrist brace is 'free' but of course I receive an invoice of $70 in the mail that only aggrivated the pain. Way to go, Doc. Listen to your patients.
