Excellent Doctor
I have never had such a thorough evaluation. I believe it took about 1/2 hr or longer and Kathy a physical therapist associated with Henry Ford was there. I saw Dr Seidel for neck, shoulder and back complaints. He shared his thought as to what he thought throughout. After the exam, Dr Seidel asked what I wanted to treat first. I said my neck and left shoulder so he ordered PT, X-rays and an EMG of my legs. He did the EMG himself and explained why he ordered it. PT with Kathy has been terrific. After I finish this initial round of PT, Dr Seidel will re-evaluate. I highly recommend Dr Seidel. Not only is he a doctor at evaluation but is so personable and approachable. He is more than willing to answer any questions or concerns. You won’t be disappointed.

I was hesitant at first, because of negative remarks I had read about Dr. Seidel. From the moment he walked in the room and introduced himself, I knew I would be comfortable under his care. He explained everything as he examined me and asked if I had any questions or concerns.

Found answers no one else did
I've seen Dr Seidel for two different problems. I love his direct matter of fact manner. I love that he explains what he is thinking and gives options. When no one else had answers about my neck he quickly identified the problem and solution. I think he's amazing and I would highly recommend him.

Doctor didn't do anything to diagonize pain. He was training an intern during my visit. Spent more time talking to this intern. After 5 visits, the pain is still worse. And now Doctor tells me to take some strong pain medication.

Wonderful, through doctor who cares more about his patients than money. He has been a godsend to my husband and his motorcycle account. He’s also not arrogant in the least...he tells you exactly how it is and does not sugarcoat for the “ sensitive “ patients!

Dr. Seidel was a very thorough Doctor, who was very concerned about my medical issues. He played an essential part of getting me thru the insurance experience to who I really needed to see, while in the meantime helping me with my pain, during the waiting periods between the future Doctors appointments.

Please be aware of Dr Seidel. He works for WC and the company. Dr Seidel did my IME from Work Comp. I knew right away that he is a WC Dr that would claim my injury’s were not work related. I have already had 2 IMEs prior. Last IME Dr ordered the nerve stim. Then WC send me to Dr Seidel and he states that my injuries are not from my accident at work. Don’t know how it can go from 2 IME Drs say I need treatment and Dr Seidel states my injuries are not work related. Dr Seidel is fraudulent.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Seidel?
Dr. Seidel met me after a few minutes of an evaluation from an intern. When Dr. Seidel arrived, he quickly evaluated my lower back pain. Then he suggest a get well plan which included medication and shots. When I questioned the medicine and shots (I've had that recommendation before, and was looking for root cause - not masking the symptoms), Dr. Seidel became rude & demeaning. He said something like, "You are not listening to me. I've listened you, its your turn to listen to me."

I found Dr. Seidel to be straightforward and honest. Thorough in his evaluations and persistent in his search to get to the root of your medical issues and participate in a resolution. I found him to be a warm and caring physician. The Spine Center staff, are also warm and caring...I felt a general sense of well-being in this environment. Thanks to all.

Dr. Seidel never calls or sends a letter regarding MRI's. No medical plan of treatment plan. No idea what I'm supposed to do except find another PM&R who's engaged in patient care and outcomes. Also disheartening to see that he is teaching. What exactly is he teaching?! Very poor bedside manner.
