Very Disappointing
My experience with Dr. Landis was AWFUL, from the beginning until 6 months later I am beyond disturbed by how I was treated. This is a VERY serious surgery but Dr. Landis acted like it was a simple six week recovery without truly explaining the SEVERE nerve pain you will experience for MONTHS afterwards but when I told him I was having nerve pain he told he doesn't prescribe nerve medication and then at another appointment -mentioned...oh we gave you nerve medication-he didn't even remember that he never prescribed anything to me-this was unbelieveable. After I had this surgery, NOBODY from the surgery center called to follow up and when the nerve blocker wore off, I was in such severe pain it was unbearable but NOBODY warned me about HOW painful this would be. It has been 7 months now and I am in physical therapy to restore movement in my toes, Dr. LANDIS never helped me to find ways to recover properly and only suggested acupuncture!!!

Fantastic Dr.
Dr Landis did a fantastic job on my wife’s left ankle surgery as well as her right Achilles surgery repair. My wife is a retired nurse and really liked his professionalism and his bedside manner. He followed up with her regularly and was very thorough with making sure that she was on the path to a full recovery. We always had a very minimal wait time and we would highly recommend him for any foot and ankle injuries.

Outstanding Care!
Dr. Landis provided outstanding care during my initial and follow-up visits. He assessed my ankle injury, recommended a beginning care plan, and then explained what would happen at the follow-ups and how he would proceed with next steps depending on the success of the beginning care. At each step, he took the time to listen and discuss the injury and healing process. Highly recommend!

Excellent communicator, professional, knowledgeabl
Extremely personable and easy to communicate with. Technician took X-rays immediately so the doctor could review, show and discuss the fracture, treatment and prognosis. Spent plenty of time with us to make sure we understood. Highly recommend!

Amy, Has been a blessing she is so compassionate, so knowledgeable, and so sweet. I’ve seen her on my visits and love her. I’m thankful for Dr. Landis half way through my foot surgery, he was amazing to take care of me. Thank you both!

Would travel far to see him
After a disappointing start to my 1st visit, due to a line of clients trying to check in for our appointments that went clear out the door, spilling into the sidewalk, it was worth it once I met Dr. Landis. He impressed me with his skill, gentleness, and a no-rush manner of going the extra mile with my questions & concerns.

Very rude
He returned a call for feedback on discomfort my daughter was having from surgery performed on my daughter’s knee just four days ago. He was NO HELP and just felt rushed to get off the phone. He basically said, if your that concerned then take her to emergency. He never gave advice on if her discomfort is normal in the areas I addressed. He was not the surgeon who performed my daughters surgery Thank goodness!

Great appointment experience
From checking in for my appointment, to the person who guided me to the exam room to the doctor, all were professional and friendly and knowledgeable. I have an old heel injury which has hardware in it. It was getting more stiff and painful. Dr. Landis gave me information about my choices for the future with knowledge and confidence. I chose to get a steroid shot and he was great. I was a wimp but the shot has helped so far! I may need another shot in the future and I will be braver the next time.

Great experience!
A family member recommended Dr Landis & TOI after I had not been getting adequate care from a podiatrist. Everyone I encountered was professional, highly competent, and kind. We have a plan to treat my hammertoe and I feel confident moving forward with this team.

Foot Problems
Dr Landis operated on my foot 6 years ago and I had a good experience from first visit through recovery. I have a different issue with my foot and my visit went very well. He examined the X-rays, explained the problems but ordered an MRI before making final determination of course of action. He answered all my questions. I am very satisfied with my decision to use Dr Landis again.

Subtalar fusion
After two unsuccessful surgeries, Dr. Landis accepted my case. His method and procedures to fuse my lower ankle were successful. Dr. Landis was exceptional at communicating the details of surgery. He always listened to my concerns and answered my questions. I highly recommend Dr. Landis.

After years of foot problems and pain not solved by other physicians, I went to Dr. Landis. He identified the problem based on x-rays and scheduled me for injections between two major bones in my foot, which had some deterioration due to osteoarthritis. The injections were carefully done under simultaneous x-ray to pinpoint the exact location of the pain source. Within two days the pain that I had been experiencing for several years was gone. Of course I expect to need additional injections at some point, but now I know who to go to. I would recommend Dr. Landis to anyone experiencing pain due to osteoarthritis in the foot.

I visited this doctor for the first time about a painful swelling in my heel. I told him that a short regimine of a prescription anti-inflammatory I had just started appeared to be resolving the pain and inflammation. Regardless, he prescribed what he described as a more powerful anti inflammatory drug as well as a 6 week visit to the physical therapist. He also twice mentioned the potential for surgery in the very short time I saw him. It appeared to be a headlong rush to qualify for surgery without seeing what the less intense medication would do.
