I've been a patient of Dr. Dolan for about a year due to my newly diagnosed PA. The Rx I'm on expired in December and I'm now out of the medication. The office does not answer their phones or return messages. I find it extremely unprofessional for them to abandon their patients. If they are temporarily closed or out of business, they should have provided a notification. I now need to find a new doctor and start from scratch with trying to get back on medication. And my hands hurt.

After leaving 8 voice messages, i gave up. This office doesn't answer their calls and they don't return calls. I asked my primary care doctor to refer another specialist. I don't think this office opens everyday. And I think their front desk person is a part time.

Dr. Dolan's office management is very poor. Even before the pandemic, the office never answered the phone. A patient always got a voice mail message telling the patient how busy they were and to leave a message, just one message not multiple messages. Often it would be a week before anyone called back. Since the pandemic it has been much worse. The office manager is not responsive to emails or phone messages, I have waited since July 24th for a simple referral for an xray that Dr. Dolan told me during a televisit would be taken care of right away. If the office is too busy to answer the phone then limit the number of patients that he has or manage the office to be more responsive to the patients. I will request a new referral for a rheumatologist. I have had enough waiting and unanswered phone messages and this simple referral. I highly discourage anyone for contacting this office as a new patient. Catherine is the only staff member that has responded to my questions.

This Dr. completely “ghosted” me after 2 years of an undiagnosed condition. Finally, in February of 2020, he said he would refer me to UCI, after not being able to diagnose my illness. After waiting for a referral for 2 months, I went into the office twice, left several messages on voicemail and he completely avoided any contact with me! A total waste of 2 whole years, numerous medications, none of which ever worked! I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone EVER!! Thanks for nothing, Dr. Dolan!!??

After two weeks of leaving messages to try and arrange an appointment, I gave up and asked my PCP for a referral to another rheumatologist. Dr. Dolan needs to get more responsive office staff.

Im glad it was Dr. Dolan who saw me when i was in the hospital. I didnt have to say much, but the symptoms i was having. Also, most ive seen don't bother asking you questions because sometimes patients don't know what to ask it to explain like me hah. Anyways he took the time to question and listen to me...im just sad because i cant see him as an outpatient due to my insurance.
