Most Sensitive to my Symptoms
Been on workman’s Comp for 7 months Now, of all the Dr.s Dr.Balis is the only one who took the time to show me My MRI Scans and Explain to me where all my Symptoms were coming from,. I Really feel that Dr.Balis cares for Each Patient and Relying on Facts rather than Suggested Explanations.

83 still going strong because of Doctor G. Balis
Doctor Gene Balis, Advised me 30 years ago that it looks like i will not be operated on and he will lose a patient He advised me that my core should be an area that improvement is needed, and the results will be fine if i continue to do as he told me, well here i am 83 years old and still doing leg lifts as he advised every morning. Doctor Balis thank you for your advice and I do respect you for the information you gave me, it takes 2 people the doctor and the patient to make things work not just a doctor the patient also is responsible for the results in the end. Once again thank you Doctor Balis. John Wall

Best Bedside Manner Ever
Dr. Balis is extremely thorough and takes copious notes. He asked many questions to grasp my condition as I have a genetic spinal deformity. He spoke to me with kindness and empathy. He is one of the only specialists I've seen in the last eight months that has not sent a PA to deal with patients. He's highly knowledgeable and works hard to find solutions.

Given one star because I had to. This man should not be allowed to "practice" medicine. Fails to review information from other doctors. Fails to review MRI brain, MRI cervical spine and CT temporal. He works to make other doctors believe patient has mental health issues while failing to do his job. He should be Baker Acted for causing harm to his patients.

Best doctor bar none. He is the greatest most caring doctor in the Bay area. It's been four years since the operation and still always checking on my wife.
