I loved Dr. Hernandez..so sad she is no longer with the Cape Coral office. She was a very good listener, she cared about you and I will very much miss her. :(:(:(:(

She listened well, appreciated my input and made a plan that fit with my lifestyle. I am distressed to find that she has left the practice and like another doctor I adored, left Lee Health. The reviewer complaining about the cost should fault the system and not the doctor. The md in a large health system has nothing to do with the charges. I was able to locate Dr Martinez after some months and will attempt to do the same with Dr Hernandez.

Only been in Florida a year. Was so happy to find Dr Hernandez! She was friendly and explained everything. Then, found out yesterday, she has left! Not interested in seeing the male doctor there. Now need to go through the process of finding another female doctor that excerpts my insurance and is in the Cape.

If you are looking for a doctor that is attentive, that when asks how are you, will listen to what you have to say and will ask pertinent questions in order to determine a diagnosis. One of the best primary care physicians I have been to. Excellent listening, analysis and treatment skills. I became her patient after she effectively diagnosed and treated my husband who numerous specialists had misdiagnosed.

This Doctor is seems very delusional with her practice of medicine. She prescribed my brother and I anesthesia medication for anxiety. Taking the medicine even knowing I’m prescribed a different medication that’s located in my medical records. She still prescribed us this horrible medication to take through out the day and later I look it up to basically find out it’s anesthesia in “pill form.” I HIGHLY recommend seeing ANOTHER family doctor. Poor judgement. How did se graduate?

My first visit to a Dr in Florida for continued care. Poor listening skills and even tho I brought my meds with me they still made mistakes and omitted & ordered the wrong med & questioned baseline labs for my age. I lost my confidence in this Dr already so I asked to be switched to another Dr in the practice and they said she refused as it was uncomfortable for the staff. Front desk was very kind, but these Dr's act like high school children. Not there to help people find the right fit at all.

Dr Hernandez was competent and polite. I just think $400 for an office visit that lasted about 20 minutes max is ridiculious! Then I had a follow up after a cholesterol test, which lasted about 10 minutes was $171. Even if I had good insurance which I don't, I think charging that much for a simple office visit is insane. And I know for a fact that many doctors charge much less.
