I really just want to give a compliment about the impact Dr Nida has had on my life. I have lost 30 plus pounds, and I no longer have to use the omnipod insulin pump. I am eating better making healthier choices in on the right track to getting rid of diabetes. I have completely gotten rid of the edema in my legs and feet. And for years nearly a decade before that my diabetes was very poorly managed. I've been coming to see Dr. Nida for less than a year and I think my testimony speaks for itself. I'm very thankful to Dr. Nida

New visit
After reviewing my labs, Dr. Nida realized that an increase dose of a current medication would help. It did! Amazing results.

Was concerned with my sons health
My son has been to several doctors and specialists regarding his sugar dropping so low. Extremely low. Dr. Nida sat and listened to our concerns and gave very good advice on eating habits that have helped my son so far. At his follow up appointment his sugar is better. It still drops but not as frequent or low as before. With the help of Dr. Nida hopefully he is getting it where he needs to be.

Whole Foods
Dr. Nida suggested a whole food diet. We watched the Forks over Knives documentary at his suggestion. This diet has improved my health dramatically. More doctors need to suggest diet change as an option to improve health. Both my cholesterol and PSA have dropped.Thank You Dr. Nida!

Not helpful with Adrenal insufficiency
He’s quick to leave without hearing your concerns. Thinks becoming a vegan will cure you. He answered one of my question about a side effect with, “I don’t deal with that” then left the room. Didn’t say if we were done or what we were to do next. I had an adrenal crises and went into a seizure. Could have died. Needed advice but got the boot.

Refuses to accept newer diabetic treatments and relies strictly on insulin therapy. Flat out lied about a potential side effect (researched it once I came home and got the numbers strait from the FDA that showed his numbers were lies to try to scare me into submission claimed he had 4 deaths when the FDA only recognizes 3 since 2013 and only on a corollary basis) and kicked me out of his office when i asked about potential 3rd options and that I may need a second opinion before a radical change like that. Avoid at all costs.

I’m happy he is now my Dr. My condition is complex and most Endos don’t have experience with. A lot of times it’s over their capabilities. He understood right away but still listened. I’m just hoping to get another 10 years out of my life.

Dr. Nida is the first doctor who really addressed my diabetes. The doctor’s I previously had been seeing always wanted to up my dosage of insulin. Dr. Nida took one look at my medical history and told me we needed to get the diabetes under control. He helped me with a diet, helped me to qualify for gastric bypass surgery, and continued to monitor my progress and help me be successful in my recovery. I am down about 80 pounds, off of four insulin shots a day and living a much healthier lifestyle. Dr. Nida cares about his patients. He will work tirelessly to help you improve your health. He calls me one of his ‘success’ stories, but I say he is a big part of my success.

Dr. Nida has helped me go from a 12.2 A1C down to a 6.3. He is concerned for my health and how it affects my diabetes type 2. All I had to do was listen to what his plan was for me to get better and it has paid off.

Receptionist was very rude! I noticed while waiting that the office phone was ringing off the hook and the receptionist could not take time from texting to answer the incoming phone calls. She had a very sarcastic answer for every question I asked as well. The physician and nurse were very friendly and welcoming. A new, more welcoming face at the front desk would make this office great!

I am diabetic. He took me off of insulin and put on a new medication. This medication made me very sick. I knew I was to see him the next day to review my blood sugars. I was so sick the next day I forgot my blood sugar list. He would not see me. I told the nurse I was sick and I thought I had ketoacidosis, he sent the nurse back to tell me to go to the emergency room. He could have at least examined me to confirm my fears. I found him to be very cold, no sense of humor and very comdescending.
