Dr Rose is going to perform a total hysterectomy on me via robotic surgery. As soon as I met him, his professionalism and calm demeanor really put me at ease before the procedure. I really appreciate how he took the time to explain everything to me and made sure I felt comfortable.. I feel confident in his care.

Expert with not so good bedside manners
Dr. Rose performed my myomectomy (fibroid removal surgery). At the consultation, he tells me I’ll be able to go home the same day after surgery. On surgery day he tells me i may have to stay overnight. I ended up staying an entire weekend. At no point did he say some women go home after the procedure and some need to stay a few days. The day after my surgery. I am in excruciating pain (which is common). he comes to check on me and tells me I’ll be going home today. I told him no I’m not. I am in pain and idk what medicines will bring me relief yet. Perhaps the better question could’ve been, “how are you feeling, do you think you can go home today?” As opposed to telling me what I should do without considering my pain level.I don’t recommend him. As much of an expert as he is, his bedside manners leave a lot to be desired.

Definitely Not
This doctor scared me, insulted me and was completely pressuring me to have more of a surgical procedure than I needed. I would not send my worst enemy to be his patient. He never told me I had a choice in having the surgery in terms of timeframe, and the surgeon I eventually used, that was the first thing she told me. He was terrible.

Dr. Rose was recommended by my doctor as one of the best gynecological oncologists. He is knowledgeable, experienced, and innovative. From the initial consultation and examination, I felt like I was in good hands. Dr. Rose clearly explained my test results and suggested a robotic surgery as the best approach. My recovery, physical and emotional, was immediate. I’m very appreciative of Dr. Rose for making me feel optimistic and comfortable throughout this journey. He is a brilliant confident surgeon - highly recommend!

Upon getting a scan from my GI Doc I got a call saying that I had a 20 cm mass & I needed to see an Obgyn asap.. On Oct 16th, 2020 I went for an apt. I mistakenly assumed Dr. Rose would be discussing the results of the CT scan that my GI doc sent over. I thought the consultation was just an office visit and have my questions answered. Just like the last review, I thought this visit was strictly a consultation. I already had a hysterectomy in 2006 so when he wanted to do a pap smear, I was like what the heck for. I was extremely uncomfortable as there were 4 other people in the room. I SHOULD have gone with my GUT & said NO. I should have run as fast as I could to another office. The office cx my surgery 3 X & blamed the hos. Doc Rose knew before & during surgery that I had kidney issues & never informed me. Now I have to have a renal scan. Very unprofessional & I am filing formal complaints with the board. Go somewhere else.

I had a planned total hysterectomy which was performed by Dr. Rose via robotic sugerey. From the pre-surgery consult, surgery, and post surgery care, Dr. Rose was very caring, informative, and straight to the point (I cannot deal with evasive doctors, who sugar-coat things). Right before surgery, he went out of his way to see me, encourage me, make sure everything is going well. Post-suregery, I had very little pain and was on my feet 3 1/2 weeks later. I knew I was in the best hands after our first meeting. And I know I was taken care of by an amazing, incredibly meticulous surgeon during the procedure! So, 5* from me - I highly recommend him to anybody!!!

I recently had my 1st surgery (a Modified Radical Hysterectomy) and was extremely nervous. Dr. Rose was compassionate, confident and informative on what he felt was the best procedure for me, while still allowing me to choose what I was comfortable with. He is quick and thorough, a true master at his craft. All of the hospital staff I encountered spoke so highly of him and said he was the best in the country in robotic surgery. He has a wonderful bedside manner, which was just what I needed after such a big surgery. And although I never saw his face (because of Covid!) I felt at peace and knew I was in the best hands. I highly recommend him. Thank you, Dr Rose!

I would not recommending Dr. Rose to ANYONE. After my surgery Dr. Rose told my family he removed the affected ovary & tube and 2nd ovary for birth control reason. My family said, you did what? Did you discuss this with her? Dr. Rose replied, Yes, did I do something wrong? I think at that point he realized he did. My surgery was 1:45PM. My family did not see me until 12:45AM. My family requested to speak with Dr. Rose. He never came back. I did not see Dr. Rose until my follow up; 2 weeks after.

Dr. Rose was amazing. He operated on me in an emergency surgery when I was 4 weeks pregnant and was very up front about all the risks involved with the surgery as well as my condition. All the nurses spoke very highly of him at the hospital as well. The office staff are very responsive and always return my phone calls and questions right away.

I cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Rose. He is a leader in the field of GYN oncology and robotic surgery; people from all over the US come specifically to see him. In addition to world class technical skill, he is very caring. He answered all of my questions & was a very reassuring presence for me & my family. During my hospital stay, the nurses said how lucky I was to have Dr Rose & spoke highly of him. I know I could handle any serious illness under his care.

Very rude. Criticized the patient he had before me for not getting more regular paps and thereby causing her now-critical cancer. Very dismissive and arrogant; I could almost feel him roll his eyes because I was being overly cautious in going to see him after an abnormal pap smear. He was terrible to the point that I felt kind of shaken by the experience when I left.
