Dr. Gayane Chalyan, DO

Dr. Chalyan was friendly and professional. She helped my family member quickly figure out what they needed to do for their medical condition!

I was very sick when I came in here and Dr Chalyan she take she took very good care of me. She kept me informed of what we were doing and that’s why Brown home.

I had to go to Lubbock Hosp and staff and the physician there. We’re great.. Dr.Chalytexplained everything very well I felt very how much better! Great Doctor!

Dr. Chalyan is an incredible doctor! She is very personable and helpful. Dr. Chalyan was always willing to stay and discuss any concerns we had without it feeling like she wanted to rush out of the room. Her friendly personality and bedside manner were greatly appreciated. My family is so thankful Dr. Chalyan was our doctor. We wouldn’t have wanted anyone else!

My husband had a urology short stay procedure at Lubbock Heart Hospital and came home. He became increasingly uncomfortable in the middle of the night. I called the urologist who did the procedure as he was on call that night. He did not respond. My husband became faint and having not heard back from the urologist I took him to Lubbock Heart Hospital where he was admitted. Dr. Chalyan saw him and quickly diagnosed sepsis and immediately started IV antibiotics. After running further tests and scans Dr. Chalyan saw that my husband was bleeding internally and started transfusions. She called in a GI doctor who discovered a tear in his esophagus most likely from the tube inserted during the urological procedure. The tear was repaired and the bleeding stopped. My husband’s urologist all the while kept ignoring all the lab tests saying there was nothing really wrong. Dr. Chalyan is in short “the very best of the best” and we are so grateful and thankful for her!

I came into ER in massive pain, vomiting like crazy and when the Dr saw me she automatically knew what she needed to do. She was amazing and helped me in every way she could and left me satisfied.

Went into the hospital and got diagnosed very quickly, but Dr. Chalyan and felt much better after the treatment. Very happy with my care. Very kind and compassionate.

I felt very unwell before I went to the hospital and just a couple days Dr. Chalian fixed me I felt much better before I left. Thank you!

Dr. Chalyan was thorough and explained all of what was going on with me in the Hospital. She even called my oncologist to make sure I had proper follow up.

I am not one to typically write reviews, but hopefully this helps someone in the future. Dr. Chalyan recently treated my father. She is abrasive, rude, and extremely unprofessional. She allowed her personal feelings/ personality conflicts with my father to affect her quality of care. So much so, that she refused to come in the room to look at a wound after being informed the conditioned has worsened. Thankfully, we were able to have my father transferred to a new hospital. I would not recommend this physician to treat anyone, especially a loved one. I am hoping that Dr. Chalyan can do some self-reflection and improve her soft skills, because her lack of bedside manner and personal feelings ultimately affect the medical care of her patients. I am sure she is very smart and has the credentials to prove it. However, the care provided to my father was borderline detrimental to his physical health, and had we not been transferred, could have been much much worse.

She is very abrupt and abrasive with her patients. Unprofessional behavior.
