Don’t go for quarterly preventive , bad experience
I had a traumatic experience over 3 years in treatment for preventive shots every 12 weeks—every 12 weeks I would receive no message from his office. It was very anxiety provoking, and the doc takes no responsibility for his system of scheduling this treatment. I tried hard to work it out but they weren’t interested in working it out. I’d say they are not professional in dealing with complaints. Unfortunately there are very limited numbers of neurologists in a hundred mile radius of my home, so I imagine that is the case for many of his patients who have almost 0 other options. I will never go back, now.

Initial visit he was concerned
I was to see his office regarding Surgical Neuropathy testing as I suffer pain from surgery when I was on active duty in the Air Force. I had extensive background listed on the office's paperwork that I filled out explaining the problems and surgeries. He then stated that I would be set up for testing to include my neck. On the day of testing, I was given a CARPAL TUNNEL test and NOT a test for SURGICAL NEUROPATHY. I then relayed this information to the VA as they are the ones that set up the authorization to see the office for Surgical Neuropathy. The VA will now be looking into this further.

Pleasantly surprised - very good first visit
After seeing many negative reviews, I still went to Dr. Kureti as a new patient as I was able to get in 2 months earlier than any other neurologist in the area. I was quite happy I did so. Dr. Kureti was both personable and thorough, providing information, reassurance and path forward. He was quick, though - come prepared and be ready for a bit of rapid fire questions and info. Staff was also pleasant and my appointment happened generally on time.

Not concerned with patient at all! Do not listen.
Terrible. DO NOT RECOMMEND! Still in same state. Actually, worse, as no (NONE!) treatment whatsoever!

Should have looked at the reviews before I went. Dr. Kareti seems to be knowledgeable in his field. However, during my visit he was multi-tasking on his phone while I was talking and asked me several questions twice. It is extremely disrespectful not to give someone your undivided attention. In addition to that, he was condescending, dismissive of my concerns, interruptive and told me to “just take the meds”. His nurse asked me the name of my pharmacy twice, but yet 4 days later, my pharmacy had nothing ready. When I called Dr. Kareti’s office, I was told my prescription wasn’t ready because they did not know which pharmacy I used. I believe as a patient I deserve better and I believe there has to be a more respectful and attentive neurologist than that out there.

If I could leave less than 1 Star I would. Arrogant, dismissive and compared me to a used car. Told me he could tell by just looking at me there was nothing wrong. Refused to look at my MRI, or answer any questions. When I expressed concern about hereditary Alzheimer’s and told him spots had shown up in my brain he actually laughed at me and asked how long I wanted to live as I was already elderly(I was 57). Told me instead I should see a psychiatrist and to stop trying to find something wrong. I will save you the details but I left near tears and since have found an excellent Neurologist who actually cared and got to the root of my problem. I’m now 63 and being treated for a very serious condition. Run, don’t walk to ANY other Dr. and save yourself the frustration even if it means going out of Network. Sincerely, Me

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Kareti and his staff. I saw Dr. Kareti for my chronic migraines. He listened to my concerns intently. He recommended a new medication, and even provided me with a free sample. The medication has worked wonders and I am so grateful to Dr. Kareti for helping me. Dr. Kareti and his staff were kind and efficient. My time with Dr. Kareti was "quick," but he provided me with the level of care I needed and I was very happy with my experience. His nursing staff was very friendly and helpful as well. I highly recommend Dr. Kareti.

Waited 45 minutes to see him. He saw me for no more then 5-8 minutes MAX. He was arrogant. Interupptive. Didn't have real concern nor care to listen to my concerns. He walked out of room into the hallway while still talking to me. Then proceeded to tell me there was "nothing wrong" with me although he hadn't even looked at my MRI yet. I was visibly upset and he told me I "should be happy that there's nothing wrong with me" and asked, "Do you want something to be wrong with you?" I told him of course not but I knew there was because I'm in constant pain. Pain that I wasn't in for 38 out of 39 years of my life. So something was very wrong and he was being dismissive and I needed answers. I left his office in tears.

Charming on first visit, over an hour late, brief, rude when asked questions, did not look at test results before talking to me, had to remind him, he got short and nasty with me. The door was open to the room the entire time.

Charming on first visit, very short, rude, demeaning to me when he was running over a hour and a half late. Saw me for 2 minutes max.Berated me in halfway with four staff smirking like he was brilliant. I'm a retired nurse.

Dr. Kareti was uncertain regarding details of his patient. He was running nearly hour late to the appointment, but had time to show up with coffee in hand. He seems genuinely attentive to what his patient is saying, though, after three visits with similar concerns at each visit, his list of options remains the same, without any alternatives to the first suggestion he makes.
