Dr. Varley has been my eye doctor since lasik surgery in 2001. My eyes have always had some issues and I have appreciated Dr. Varley’s caring and conservative approach to giving me the best vision possible. In the past month he performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes with results of 20/20 and 20/25. He has always answered my questions candidly and with concern for the ultimate outcome. I wish Dr. Varley a long and happy retirement. Maybe in retirement he will become a Buckeye (OSU).

Waited until both eyes were done to comment. Immediate distance vision 20-20, and 20-15. Now waiting to get new glasses for close up and (previous)double vision correction. Process was very smooth with no complications. Enjoy your retirement Dr. Varley

I ended up having to have cataract surgery at a much younger age (53) and subsequently had my other done at age of 55. My cataracts were fast growing in a matter of months versus years. My mother also ended up needing cataract surgery in both of her eyes. Dr Varley did all 4 of the surgeries. Excellent care. Would recommend Dr Varley to anyone who needs eye surgery.

I can’t say enough about Dr Varley and his staff at Cincinnati Eye Institute. My procedure was easy because they talked me through every step. Kept reassuring me throughout. My vision is now 20/10. I am so glad I chose Dr Varley and Cincinnati Eye Institute

I can remember the first time I struggled to see the black board back in grade school and had to get my first pair of glasses. Since then it’s been glasses and contacts with the hope one day, I would be a candidate for Lasik. CEI made the entire process easy from the first consultation appointment to my post op follow ups. I can’t thank everyone enough who was part of my experience. They really knew what to do and say to take the nerves away. I felt safe and in good hands. Thank you everyone at CEI for giving me the opportunity to have might sight back without the need for corrected lenses.

Every staff member that I interacted with at CEI was friendly, considerate and professional. I felt safe from the moment I entered the building until I exited. I have to say, I found Dr Vaeley to be an excellent surgeon. I also like his personality.
