Dr. Gary Thompson, MD

Never made it past the front desk...I arrived on time at 8:30. I had finished their pre-screening survey except for a bunch of questions about "is anyone hitting you at home? Do you have a way to get to appointments? Do you have food at home?" questions that didn't apply to me. They asked me to complete these in the office which i did. Only then was i told that even though i was ontime, they couldn't see me today b/c they had a patient coming right after me (?) Very unprofessional "Office Manager" Karen type person explained this, telling me "well, this is YOUR problem, because you're late!" which, i wasn't. anyway, their loss. I'll be reaching out to the actual practice owner to assure he's aware they're treating potential new clients like this.

I have been a patient of Dr. Thompson's for twenty years. He possesses a rare combination of attributes, sadly lacking in the present American medical system. Professionalism. Unshakable calm. Time to listen. Humanity. Decency. Eye to eye, person to person, listening. Superb diagnostician and Doctor. Five stars don't begin to rate Dr. Thompson's care me over the years.

I've been seeing Dr. Thompson for 18+ years now, he's a awesome doctor, very knowledgeable and caring, he's concerned about your health issues listen to your problems and can tell you your diagnosis I trust him and his finding because he seems to be always right.

Dr. Thompson is the most caring and patient physician I have ever been to see. He is kind and will take time to listen to your concerns--I have never felt rushed or not cared for there. When I am ill, they do everything they can to see me as soon as possible. I cannot recommend this practice enough.

Mary Lynn is FANTASTIC! She took the time to explain every little detail to me so that I was comfortable and knew what was going on. She took my concerns seriously, and even called me after hours (about 20 minutes) to tell me the next steps necessary for my situation. Can't recommend her enough.

Dr. Thompson & this practice is not your normal you're-just-a-number in-&-out-quickly experience. You are asked questions & listened to...& your whole life/lifestyle/health/thoughts & outlook are all important. You have an extremely compassionate & knowledgeable partner in making decisions that will serve you best. I can't give them enough stars. Dr.Thompson is who I have seen primarily the last 7ish years. I just moved an hr away to another city but I will definitely not be changing doctors.

Doc Thompson and his staff hav been most kind and fast. He looks me in the eye when he talks to me,, and asks a bunch of ?????????s and than listens for as long as we need. He does not believe in a bunch of pricey treatments and tists, which saved me major bucks, we have been going to doc thompson for three years and won't go to another doctor
