Dr. Nickell
He didn't help me just made excuses. Then he lied to my new doctor saying he tried to de exulate me. He yelled at me right after I did him. He's the worst doctor I ever had.

Made me uncomfortable
I saw Dr. Nickell a few times. He made me, a female patient, feel uncomfortable. I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone, particularly not women or LGBTQIA+.

He has confirmation bias
I’ve seen Dr. Nickell for a few years and he used to listen and consider what I was saying. Now, it seems like he just cares about getting out quickly or listening to himself talk. I went in recently for a recurrent issue and it was an absolute waste of time. He didn’t care AT ALL about the symptoms or the history, I felt like I was talking to a wall. He made an initial (completely wrong later confirmed by another doctor) assumption about me and refused looking further into it. Safe to say, go somewhere else.

Must wait a long time
Dr. Nickells is a new doctor for me. I've seen him twice and both times I had to wait at least 45 minutes to an hour for him to finally make it to the room for my visit. I believe that is way too long to wait. Also, he doesn't seem concerned about my problems. He gives me his opinion and doesn't care about mine. He seems to be in a hurry and wants to move on to his next person waiting. I wouldn't recommend him for your health concerns.

Does not listen to a patients' concern
Dr. Nickell has been my PCP for over 20 years. I don't know what happened to him, but he no longer listens to your concerns (is it give up your patient syndrome? his divorce?). Recently I let him know about a constant reoccurring issue (I brought a witness to prove my concerns were true). He blew off my concerns and blamed it on a past procedure. Which is pretty much the response I get every time - I might as well just go to front desk pay and leave as the value of the visit is worthless. Anyway as it turns out my issue is orthopedic and requires surgery. Thank god someone took the time to listen to my concerns the progression of this issue would have caused permanent damage - as it is now its 50/50. I would suggest you determine for yourself if he is right for you as he is no longer right for me

Saved my Life
I have been a patient of Dr. Nickell for 20+ years. He has always been caring and treated me with respect. I have always been able to talk to him freely and he listens. Recently I had surgery . A week after the surgery I began feeling poorly. I went to Dr. Nickell and told him how I felt. The surgeons office called and said those symptoms were normal and not to worry. Dr. Nickell listened to me and ran tests. Apparently the surgery had gone south and I had developed a major infection and hole in my esophagus. If it were not for Dr. Nickell knowing me and listening to me, I could have died. I cannot imagine ever seeing another doctor. He is kind, caring and knowledgeable.

I gave him a few chances, each time he refused to talk about my concerns, saying I was being dramatic. I'm not the type to go to the doctor for a sniffle. And he did nothing but discredit my symptoms and refused to examine me. Turned out I had bronchitis. Thanks Little Clinic!

Dr Nickell has been my pcp for about 6 years. I have up to this point valued his medical opinion and advice. This recent visit he did not listen to my needs, lectured and gave advice that was contradictory to the situation. I will be looking for a different option for my primary care.

Very caring Doctor . He takes the time to get to know you and that is very important to me. When he sees you he doesn't rush and he takes the time to listen to what you have to say.
