Dr. Garth Tanner, MD

He Listen very well to any of my concerns and always comes back with a way forward to addressmy medical needs including scheduling for test and treatments for the problems that I have explain to him.

Office staff extremely rude! Called dr tanner on Saturday afternoon due to being extremely sick. He was extremely upset and asked me why I didn’t call past Friday. He was not interested in what I had to say and 3 hours later I had to call ambulance; taken to hospital and found out I had cellulitis in foot. Also, dr tanner reprimanded staff member in front of me. I have found another doctor.

Dr. Tanner has been my doctor for over 20 years, He was the best, I can't say that now. He is not the same. It's like he doesn't care, it is just a job. It's time for me to find a new doctor. I was crying about a painful procedure that was given to me from a crappy doctor he referred me to. That is NO GOOD. He didn't even care. Worse doctor ever now. Not even the same person.

Garth Tanner, M.D., is especially gifted at working WITH his patients. He gives extensive consideration to verbal input in conjunction to objective physiological signs, symptomatic or otherwise along with labs to formulate his diagnosis, which can be differential and complex. I have been a patient of Dr. Tanners for many years and he tailors his diagnostic skills to the needs, age and associated changes of each of his patients. His extensive training is positively and evidently demonstrated in his patient care. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Tanner to anyone in need of primary adult medical care.

Dr. Garth Tanner was my primary care physician for over 14 years. Most years, I would only see him once for an annual physical. Over the past several years, it was apparent the Dr. Tanner was very disengaged every time that I saw him. He was so very, very unprepared and would not remember significant issues and claim not to have records or copies of correspondence from other specialist physicians’ notes that was verifiably sent to his attention at his office. My last several annual physicals my experience with Dr. Tanner were very rapid, not an examination and really nothing more than me updating him on issues , while he updated the information on his laptop computer. Again, I had to update him on issues that had previously been shared with him directly from other physicians. As a relatively healthy 62 year old male, he would also not perform a recital prostate exam. Based on Dr. Tanner’s continued and absolute lack of interest in my health and him not doing recommended annual

If your into being treated rudely, no communication, no cooperation when you need help with refills or paperwork, then this is the place for you. The office staff is terrible. The attitude you receive when you need assistance is horrible. Dr. Tanner is a nice man, but I've had enough of the bad customer service. I wish he would take the time to read some of these reviews online. Time to find another doctor.

GREAT Doctor!

Dr. Tanner is a fabulous physician. He takes his time and is thorough in his approach. However in contrast his front office receptionist needs some training in people skills. It's bad enough that I have considered going to another practice. The other support staff are hit or miss. If he could improve this area he'd be the best in town.

Dr Tanner is an excellent doctor. He's very thorough and takes the time to address every issue you bring to his attention. I highly recommend him and his abilities as a doctor. His staff on the other hand are extremely rude, inconsiderate and incapable of being curteous. I highly recommend he replace his office staff. I quit seeing him as my doctor because I was treated so poorly by his office staff.

Dr. Tanner is a competent, thorough, effective physician who answers question that you have and offers suggestions to help a person in their health maintenance. His staff, on the other hand, are quite the opposite. The front office personnel are rude and dismissive; they act like you are a burden to them; in the 3+ visits I have had in the last couple of months, not one of them has greeted or smiled at me when I came through the door. I feel uncomfortable sitting in the waiting room!

Dr tanner is a great MD . His staff on the other hand is very mediocre. The receptionist was very rude .
