Dr. Wirth is our hero!
Dr. Wirth is a miracle worker! My husband had surgery to repair an umbilical hernia and it went terribly wrong. He ended up having 2 additional surgeries, the last one on April 21st and was left a huge hole in his stomach that could not be stitched up. We were in the process of moving from WA to CA so when we got to Long Beach I started looking for a wound care doctor. We had our first appt. on May 10th and from the first time we met with him he and his staff were amazing - they got him on a wound vac immediately and what could have taken 6 months to heal took 6 weeks! The nurses were wonderful too - they dealt with the home health care folks that sent a nurse to our house 3 times a week to check up and change the dressings. They dealt with the Wound Vac company to get it shipped and also ordered all the supplies that we needed and had them shipped to our house. And on June 28th we saw Dr. Wirth and his staff for the last time!!! They made a horrible situation so much better for us an

A few years ago, I underwent a bilateral mastectomy with immediate breast reconstruction at UCI, following cancer. Dr Wirth was my plastic surgeon. Not only did he botched my breast reconstruction, but he created another permanent body disfigurement by removing an excessive amount of fat from my abdomen and hips in an attempt to correct my breasts’ irregular contours with fat grafting. Had I known he would remove so much fat, I would have never consented for the latter procedure given that I am on the slim side. Besides, I never provided consent for having fat removed from my hips, only from my abdomen. And to make things worse, I went through this latter surgery for nothing as my “shaped” implants had to be removed due to one of them rotating, which made my breast collapse... literally. This final reconstruction was performed with another type of implants by another surgeon at another institution. I’m really pleased with the latter breast outcome, but I’m left with disfigured hips

Dr Wirth is the best of the best! He literally saved me. Unfortunately for me I went to another Dr in Newport who did my surgery for a very high price and then did not give a darn about me after that. I was left with a drain in for 18 weeks after a very poor tummy tuck. Luckily a good friend of mine had been to Dr Wirth and I went to him for a second opinion. He took one look at me and said "I am so sorry for what you have been through. I'm going to help you" , Thank God for this man.
