Dr. Garett Helber, DO

Terrible. Rude and lacks knowledge and care. Misdiagnosed my symptoms which later caused 11 days in the hospital ICU unit. Terrible.

I have been going to rothman for over 10 years was seen by multiple doctors and surgeons. It's sad, I have always been worse coming out the door then going into the door. A couple surgeries that were a disaster. I gave it another shot and the same thing happened it. They all make the mistakes and then afterwards try to pawn you off to someone else. Only reason I kept on going is because I'm poor and I'm on Medicare and Medicaid. With that being said when you're in that situation you cannot find any qualified doctors that would take your insurance. Now I know why the Philadelphia eagles pulled out. If that organization helped anyone out there consider yourself lucky and count your blessings. Amen.

Overall, he seemed like an ok guy and certainly competent. However, the evaluation was very rushed and he seemed apathetic. For those reasons, I would not see him again and don't trust his recommendations.

Dr Helber took the time and listened to my background. I never felt rushed. He explained in detail what our next steps were and made me feel very comfortable.

During Dr Helberts review of my pain Mgt today, I found him to be cold, uncaring, and Indifferent to my healthcare . In fact, he was arrogant and just plain rude. Without any medical facts, he stated my pain was in hip, despite 2 Ortho Drs and MRI clearly stating low back pain issues. Not to mention, Helbert never even recognized my 23 years of honorable military service. “Helbert is an embarrassment to his profession and should be ashamed of his behavior”

First timer here ... Presented with neck pain. Pleased with Dr. Helber's diagnosis and prescribed course of treatment. Dr. quickly established a warm rapport and I came away from the experience with a feeling of confidence. 5 stars ????? Joe Kornspan

Very knowledgeable, professional, explained treatment options clearly, took time to listen to my concerns, appointment was on time, Dr. Helber and the staff were friendly. The office was clean and COVID precautions were observed. Highly recommended!

Had injections in my lower back on Thursday. Dr is great talks to You and makes you feel at ease. The nurses were so nice.

Dr.Helber is very thorough and offered useful suggestions and exercises to improve my back issues which are enormous. He has a certain manner that let you know that he cares about you and your progress. That’s why he is my favorite doctor!

Lowest I can give ok. Pretty not the best bedside manor, and will definitely suggest your Elements are because of you being overweight! So with that said if you can get past that then he’s the doctor for you and I officially got turned off by him by the second time and if I have to go back to Rothman orthopedic I will definitely seek out a different doctor. Not once but twice he indirectly implied to me that the reason of my issues was because I am overweight.

Dr Helber is kind fun and professional. He is very thorough in his evaluation of your health. He answers all your questions honestly and thoroughly. I highly reccommend him to evaluate you.

Yes I was extremely pleased with Dr. Helber. He made me feel comfortable and listened to my concerns and addressed any fears I may have had. He is very knowledgeable and a caring person. I would definitely recommend him to my family & friends.

After a successful 1st visit in 2020, I was looking forward to another round of pain management with Dr. Helber as I knew I would be in good hands. He is more than just a professional. Dr Helber is down to earth and makes the process seem seamless. Great conversation throughout and never a question of my comfortability level as it starts and ends at a peak. I recommend Dr. Helber and his staff with utmost confidence that anyone else would leave the appt. feeling the same way!

Lots of friendly staff keeps Rothman running smoothly.

Dr. Helber was compassionate, kind and extreme thorough. My Mom saw him as a follow up to an urgent care visit; she injured her back. He listened, examined her, provided options and just gave us the answers we needed and the confidence that those answers were correct. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Dr. Helber.

This was a follow up for a problem I had two years ago and Dr Helber was thorough and patient with me. He gave me several options, along with some PT exercises and meds. Today I am feeling better already and trust his judgment.

Wonderful doctor and staff! They really had their system streamlined. I would highly recommend them.

Amazing experience!

Dr. Helber was wonderful! He put my mind at ease, took his time and was extremely careful finding the proper injection site. He had quite a bit of "hardware" in my back to maneuver around. I was delighted at the lack of pain I felt while being injected. After my last injection, I was terrified but I had no need to be with Dr. Helber. His assistant was professional and courteous as were all the nurses and aids at the Bensalem facility. Thank you for helping me manage my pain in such as professional gentle manner! I have recommended him to many of my friends who are having back problems and need injections.

It was my third visit to Dr. Helber and this one was for a back injection due to leg and back pain caused by stenosis. Dr. Helber and Jennifer were nothing short of wonderful. He spoke with me throughout the procedure, checked on me, and walked me through each step. There was minimal discomfort and it was pretty quick- maybe 10 minutes on the table. Twenty four hours later I feel very little leg pain and will await the prescribed couple of weeks to see if the rest improve. I would recommend Dr Helber to anyone. He was great.
