I was going to Dr.Athappan recently and he placed a stent in my heart. I tried to have a follow up visit and was told he went to another practice. I then called the Sebring Cardiology where Dr. Parnassa is. The receptionist was rude and they would not see me because I'm on Medicaid. I was told and reassured numerous times by Dr. Athappan before the surgery he would see me after the procedure and for follow up! Bull! Now I'm having problems again, went to Highlands via ambulance and was told I had to be seen at Longwood because they have no cardiologist for months! I signed myself out! Now looking for new cardiologist! They put your stents in but don't care after! 5 stents plus open heart surgery, thanks for nothing Dr. Athappan!!!!!!

Doesn't care
He would not listen to me, was in a hurry and ordered a CT scan which was denied by insurance because of wording. Have waited a month for the office to appeal it and they won't even send it back in. I found a physician on the coast that cares.

not good have been trying to see this guy for 2 mths lady on phone always has an excuse says we get back never has by delaying its caused me to have another ptrocedure cancelled
