I would like someone to speak Spanish to me because the person who translated for me on the phone was not translating what I was explaining to the doctor. There was a lot of confusion. The lady was professional, but that is the only thing I would like to be changed. Everything else is very good.

Dr. Ghoniem is one of the best Dr.'s I've been too.

I waited for over 45 mins to be seen. The nurse said I'd be seen next and then the Dr came into the room. Saw me and apologized and left. I thought it was the wrong Dr until he came back into the room 20 minutes later. The first time I visited, I was left waiting for 1hr 15 mins. I was assured the Dr had a "light day" and I would not have to wait long. I missed 1 meeting with a client and was forced to take the second meeting from my car.

Horrible at getting back after results. Didn't send in perscription and could not articulate my test results. I had to call 2x to get information and it was poor! Very upset!

All the information I needed, and... or that I thought to ask for. It may not be all that I need but if I didn't know the question, and I still don't know necessarily know the question it's hard to get an answer. I

I had trouble getting my referral out of the referral office. I faxed the authorization twice. First time they said they didn't get it but I have the confirmation. Return calls inefficient. This started first of October. I was very frustrated. However, I got an appointment quickly once I was in contact with the urology department. My appoint with Dr. G was excellent. He took time, listened carefully.

Ok, first of all I want to say how difficult it is to get a prompt appointment. I was referred to two other doctors besides Dr ghoneim and the third doctor, Dr Park does the procedure that I need. He put in to the insurance for the procedure and they denied it because they say it is investigational and before we could challenge this with Cigna Dr Park left for Kaiser. All this took 6 months so I am back to square one so I called to make my followup appointment with Dr Ghoneim sooner which is very difficult because his staff does not return phone calls. When I finally saw him last week he didn't have any solutions or didn't know what to do. Finally he left the room to check to see who replaces Dr Park if anybody. He found Dr Philip Guichet at the main campus not Newport Beach replaces Dr Park and does the PAE procedure. Now I have to wait for another referral and then get what ever appointment is available instead of seeing him ASAP. All this going on for the past 6 months and I am back to square one. I need to get this PAE procedure done to curtail near future serious health issues. Please help me to expedite this and an appointment to see Dr Guichet so we can continue to convince the insurance company to get this done like it should be. Also, Dr Guichet is at the main campus which I checked out before and found to be very difficult to park and get to an appointment, partly because I am disabled. Please help me to get me a suitable resolve.{patient name removed}

You know, this isn't really anything to do with the doctor. It is to do with the doctor, not really the staff. It has to do with the doctor. It's just that, he's always, always, always late. This last time he was only an hour, well, 55 minutes late. I was going to get ready and have to leave soon, because I was just going to get ready, and then, right then, he came in. But the previous time I had waited 45 minutes, and they told me, he's running late and there's 2 patients ahead of me he has to see and I wasn't going to sit there for 2 and 1/2 more hours. And, I mean, this is repetitive with him. Would I recommend him to another person? Absolutely not. I wouldn't do that to a family member or a friend. I mean, he's a nice guy, but, come on, he's got to keep up a schedule or something. You know, this is terrible and his staff just puts you in there, and they know that he's running late, and you've got, here the 3rd person, there's 2 ahead of you

Yes. All the staff at Urology UCI was very professional, friendly, and courteous. I really ... I was really happy with my mom's visit with Dr. Ghoniem, and just want to say thank you. It was very organized. The unit was very organized. Thank you very much.

Please send nurses who know how to listen to patients and practice laparoscopic surgery properly. Thank you.
