Dr. Gajendra Singh, MD

Dr. Singh is an excellent surgeon and doctor. He saved my father's life close to ten years ago when my father was found to have a bowel obstruction. His skill and care for his patient went beyond what most doctors would do for their patients. When one doctor at Forsyth Hospital was advocating for the discontinuation of a life-saving drug (albeit an expensive one) Dr. Singh stepped in to help us and my father. I cannot express how much I appreciate Dr. Singh's knowledge and caring. He is an exceptional man. When the so-called doctor phoned me one day out of the blue to report what a lousy life my father would have after his hospital release (his prognosis was that my father would develop diabetes, never walk again and generally live an unsustainable life) he was not only wrong on all counts but grossly wrong. My father passed away this year in February and while age took its toll on him (he was 92) he was fit, enjoyed life with his family, and had a very positive outcome. I credit Singh

I was referred to Dr. Singh with a large double hernia. I was certainly nervous and unaware of what needed to happen. He was extremely patient with me and guided me through the entire process. My surgery healed up very quickly and just a few weeks later I am better than ever! Could not be more happy with his service, bedside manner, and overall skill.

I had a huge abscess under my armpit which was the worst because it disabled the movement of my arm for a bit. Dr. Singh performed an incision and drainage the same day I went in and he did it great! It was swift and quick but he still made sure it was as painless as it could be for me. His calm and sweet demeanor made the procedure a lot easier. It took a week or two to heal and he was reliable the entire time, I couldn't have picked a better surgeon for it! I highly recommend him!

Dr. Singh is wonderful! He performed surgery on my husband. The surgery was a success, and my husband had little pain. He recovered quickly and with no side effects. Dr. Singh is also very personable, and he took the necessary time to diagnose my husband's problem and to talk to us about what needed to be done. Dr. Singh takes the time to listen to your concerns and explains what your condition is and the plan of care. I'd never had surgery before and found that I'd need a cholestectomy and hernia repair. He reassured me I would be fine and was quick to get everything scheduled. I'm still recovering but feeling pretty good!

I met Dr Singh at Novant Medical Center, Winston Salem, in January 2019. I had been diagnosed with gallstones in my gallbladder. Dr Singh & his associates removed the & then removed my gallbladder. I was also found to have a hiatal hernia & a tumor on my adrenal gland. After several weeks Dr Singh performed another to remove my adrenal gland & the tumor on it. He also repositioned the hiatal hernia. I would recommend Dr Singh to anyone needing a kind, considerate & knowledable surgeon.

I called Dr Singh's office and was able to make a same day appointment as I was needing my gallbladder removed. I met with him that afternoon and had surgery the same night. He was very thorough in explaining the procedure. He was very kind and answered all my questions and the concerns I had. I would highly recommend Dr Singh.

Outstanding experience! Decided to turn down the surgeon that my “family doctor” recommended when I was diagnosed with a double hernia. Had three people recommend Dr Singh (1 in the field of medicine, 2 his were his patients). After meeting him and his staff, I was all in. Great experience from beginning to end. (Minus the pain of course :o)

I found Dr. Singh to be a very caring Doctor who treated me as a friend. He was very caring about my well being. He listened to me regarding what I was experiencing, examined me and immediately shared with me what was wrong and what we needed to do to correct my problem. He scheduled me for surgery and within two weeks following the surgery I am back to feeling good again. From start to finish it was an outstanding experience!
