depends
had her as my pediatric doctor since Dr breen retired. Falsely diagnosed me with an eating disorder due to my weight loss from age 14-15 (40 lbs and i was dieting and working out almost everyday). Now it is on my permanent record. Very condescending depending on when you catch her at the appointment you have. Rude at times but straight to the point. If your child or you yourself are sensitive, she probably isn't for you.

She is direct, to the point, yet makes my 12 year old daughter very comfortable and she knows she can trust her.

We've been bringing our daughter to Dr. Ryan for 12 years. She is thorough and brings up matters that you may not want to hear but she does so for the health of her patient. I'm shocked by the poor reviews she has received.

Dr. Ryan should no longer have a medical license. Both my brother and I saw her from infancy until age 17, and our health suffers for it. She constantly wrote off every concern. For me, everything was just that I was being dramatic, even when I was having legitimate heart pains. I complained about not being able to breathe for many years before she finally did anything. Any problem my brother had must be dehydrated. She outed me to my mother and did nothing when I expressed suicidal thoughts.
