Dr. Gabrielle Virgo, MD

My children have been seeing Dr. Virgo for almost 8 years now, so this review is long overdue. Our prior pediatric physician was Dr. Fusner of Kensington Pediatrics and we were having difficulty finding a new pediatrician who treated parents with the same level of respect, children with the same kindness, led with holistic remedies before stronger prescriptions *and* accepted insurance. Imagine our joy to find all of those things with Dr. Virgo, especially as an African-American family with medical discrimination being so rampant. She truly cares for your child and takes a whole family approach when considering treatment options.

Dr. Virgo has been my children' s doctor for 20 years now. She is an excellent doctor who is very caring and patient. Although she has many patients because she is effective, she takes the time to listen to each of her patients. As a result, she efficiently treats her patients. I highly recommend Dr. Gabrielle Virgo without hesitation. She has even inspired one of my children to enter the science field. She is one of the Best!

My children have been patients of Dr. Virgo since they were babies. Now they are 20, 19 and 9 yrs old and love her to pieces. She is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and efficient. She really cares for my family and it shows. She barely has to reference charts because she is so familiar with the children. She makes personal follow up calls, accepts last minute sick visits, and has even provided me with guidance and support through a devastating loss. We are truly grateful for you! ~MN

Dr. Virgo is a phenomenal doctor. She has been an outstanding pediatrician who has cared for my daughters for over 20 years. She has the best bedside manner I have ever seen and she is also incredibly bright. Dr Virgo is one of the top pediatricians in the country and I am so thankful to have her as my daughters pediatrician. Best doctor in town!!

Love Dr. Virgo as does my 7 year old, which amazes me, even when it's shots time. Dr. Virgo is patient, engaging, direct and most importantly to me, highly intelligent and current. She discusses current applicable pediatric issues with me without me having to know to ask. Incredibly easy to get an urgent appointment and returns calls that day. I also really like the receptionist, Marilyn. She's not over the top warm and fuzzy, but in our 5 years, she's been nothing but professional and kind

Dr Virgo is wonderful and takes her time to explain everything in regard to kids health; however, her receptionist is very unprofessional and rude. She is very unfriendly in a job that requires require good interactions with children and parents all day. I hope the doctor look into this issue and take swift action immediately.

Takes the time to explain. Excellent bedside manner towards the little ones. Does not rush us. Extremely easy to get in for an urgent appointment. Follows-up with phone calls after urgent appointments to ensure the kiddo is improving. Excellent pediatrician and I highly recommend her.

Dr Virgo is wonderful! My family loves her. She is knowledgeable and caring. Her receptionist, on the other hand, is the most unfriendly person you could imagine working in a job that requires interacting with people all day. She has been repeatedly so rude on every visit (doesn't acknowledge that you're even there and is very short with people) but we've stayed with the practice because Dr. Virgo is worth it.
