I have been treated by Dr. Tatarian for approximately five years for cervical dystonia. I find him to be very professional and easy to talk to. He has helped me immensely.

Dr Tatarian was very pleasant and professional. He spent a lot of time obtaining information about my history and did some preliminary testing with the examination while in the office. We discussed the possible diagnoses. Dr. Tatarian recommended additional OP studies after which we would meet again to discuss the results. He is very patient, and listened carefully to my complaints and symptoms with a calm, understanding demeanor. I would highly recommend him.

I saw him twice, and that was enough.. He is the most arrogant, rude, conceited "doctor" I have ever met. He has absolutely NO bedside manner, and is only a doctor for the money. A total pill pusher. If you don't want to take meds, you get belittled and slammed with threats that you'll become disabled and your spouse will leave you for it. To test your balance, he has you close your eyes, and hop on one foot. So, would NOT recommend as a doctor. He doesn't have a clue!

I was scheduled for a headache treatment at his Collegeville office on July 27. I called in early July to confirm and learned he had closed his practice and moved to Jefferson. We did not receive any notification. In fact, we got a text in mid July asking us to confirm the appointment. We cannot reach anyone at his old office, and we have been talking to Jefferson for over a month now just trying to schedule a consultation. My wife's treatment is now over a month late with no end in sight.

He’s my neurologist and I get infusions. I had reactions and been trying to get through to him for 2 weeks. I went to ER and no physician could get through to speak to him. I have no infusions and no medical care. I don’t recommend this office or physician.

I was referred to Dr T by a Dr at The Rothman Institute. YES you will sit in the waiting room forever! Once I met him I discovered why! I became his only patient. I have had back pain, numerous MRIs. Foot pain, numbness and tingling all on right side. 6 years! Prior to Rothman I started having sharp pain under my right shoulder blade. An EMG was a blast!! A once in a lifetime experience!! No he didn’t ask many questions about what was going on because he had my full medical chart! He had me taking my shoes & socks off, seeing how I was standing up against the wall. Had me walking around his waiting room. Asked if I have headaches? Yeah. How many? Umm a lot, a few a day. Ok you have migraines. 30 min later it was crystal clear! Then…has anyone told you that you tilt your head to the left? Yes why? That’s called Cervical dystonia. Very rare. It causes A B & C. YES! Explained the meds & treatments, 3 years later, still pain free! Dr T changed my life and I can never thank him enough!!

While Doctor Tartarian listened to what I was going through (diagnosed with seizures in 2016) he was quick to tell me that I had epilepsy and would never get over it. This was never how it was explained to me from the beginning (he took over a retiring neurologist's practice). Right away he wanted to change my medication, without running any tests or listening to how my current medication effected me. When I became upset at his extreme news he said I was emotional and wanted me to have psychological evaluation. I have NEVER been more insulted by a doctor. No compassion AT ALL!!! He didn't even realize that I was upset because of all he was telling me, which was a shock. I quickly changed neurologists. NEVER see this doctor. Unless you're as uncaring as he is.

He started out human then was very rude once I couldn't present my medical case like a student presenting a case. As a neurologist, you would think he would be compassionate when a patient can't articulate due to their illness. What really annoyed me was when he kept saying things like, "Other patients want this" or "Sometime patients do this" and was lumping me in with other patients. Now, as far as I know, no two people are the same so why assume I'm going to react like anyone else. I definitely will not be going back. When I told his staff they understood and said it was just his sense of humor. He did laugh at me when I tried to explain something by giving an example. He actually laughed at me. If you have thick skin, I'm sure you'll be fine with him.

Dr. Tatarian has helped me immensely. He recommended IVIG infusion for my neuropathy in my feet. In 6 months the neuropathy has been reduced by 50%. He has a great manner in the office and gives you the opportunity to ask questions.

Spends time with you, explains things and orders all tests in order to give proper treatment. His style is to the point which I like. It is refreshing compared to everyone else. He breaks down technical information very well.

The brain is complicated to say the least, especially when what is wrong doesn't jump right out and show itself. Dr. Tatarian took on my case after several other doctors couldn't pinpoint a diagnosis. He was able to do just that. Where others failed over a 3 year period, he nailed the issues over a 6 month period of testing. A wonderful man, he knows what he's doing. I most highly recommend.

Was referred to Dr. Tatarian for an EMG, I currently have RSD. He did not introducing himself or ask me any questions about the reason for my appointment. I asked him a question and he told me "why would I have an opinion, I don't know you". He told me since your not responding to physical treatment, medicine or injections that i should learn to live with it. He was very cold and dismissive. I wasted 2 months waiting for an appointment when I could have seen another Dr. that cared.

I have been a patient of Dr. Tatarian over 2 years. Dr. Tatarian and his staff gave me my life back! I was misdiagnosed and treated by another neurologist who seemed as sweet as pie with no improvement. Dr.Tatarian had my condition is controll within 3 months. He is an excellent diagnostician. I would take Dr.Tartians quiet but concerned manner any day of the week, he and all his staff are professional and courteous and bend over backwards to provide the best care available.

I was referred to Dr. Tatarian by an Orthopedic Dr. from the Rothman Institute that suggested I should see a neurologist for my numbness and tingling in my leg that I thought was coming from a herniated disc in my lower back. From the second that I met him he was cold and didn't seem to care. He treated me as though my symptoms were in my head and even used the term psychosomatic to describe why I could not lift my left leg off of the table!!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS DR. if you want real answers
