Dr. G Figueira, MD

Nov. 2021 Patient for over 5 years I have always found Dr Figueira to be a good listener. She does not rush me thru an appointment as if I were a number. As with any busy Dr Office in today's world, one must know how to work the system. Make your next appointments before leaving the office!! For Rx refills and the like, only use their office "Portal" for private secure messaging to your doctor. Leaving office messages is a waste of time. Check that your file has the correct updated info for where to send in your Rx. I have had issues in the past with a PA using old, outdated info in my folder so my Rx became very delayed, had t be repeated, etc etc. And, can someone PLEASE clean the blinds and artificial plants? They're grossly dirty!

Dr. Figueroa is a charming person but in almost 4 years as her patient she has never responded to or resolved key medical issues for me. Her office staff is simply a disaster. Staff are rude and getting a prescription refilled is torture. She herself is not in the office more than 3. 1/2 days per week. Her office told me she was too busy to see me after I had an accident abroad and I badly needed medical help to follow up from the hospital. Don’t use her.

Thinking about starting a malpractice suit for this "doctor".

Dr. Figueira has been my PCP a little over 1yr now & she is amazing. I never have a problem getting an appointment and I always hear back from her if I leave a message or if she tells me she is going to call me. Her bed side manner is awesome. Not sure she has a mean bone in her body. Very pleasant. Very sweet. She truly cares about her patients. Any issue I have is never put off or dismissed. Things are always well explained and she always takes as much time as I need w me. So grateful for her

She was my mother's doctor for over 10 yrs. and was never responsive. Mom had her regular check up in December supposedly she was ok, nothing had changed even though I suspected something. My mother passed away this week (4 months later) from 3 terminal illnesses that were never treated.

I've been calling dr. Figueira's office for months trying to make an appointment since she was recommended to me by one of my favorite doctors. I am a new patient. I called & left a message twice with no return call. I called again today only to reach a operator that was very rude. All she could barely say is she's booked til April or May. That's it! I won't be calling back. Not a way to treat a new patient.
