Dr. Fritz Franke, MD

Dr. Franke is great if you have a legitimate psychiatric issue. One of the few doctors who performs psychotherapy rather than just push pills. He does have a strong personality, but at the same time is very empathetic and has a great ability to put himself in others shoes. Some of the reviewers find him off putting, in my experience this is most likely of a reflection of the patient, not of Dr. Franke.

Really fantastic. He’s beyond patient, and actually offers guidance. He’s also got a great sense of humor, which helps tremendously!

I was a marine and when I was out I reached my breaking point of no return I stopped sleeping I couldn’t control my crying and thoughts of suicide I was desperate to find anyone that would meet with me and take new patients and from the beginning after being turned away or put on multiple waiting list I came across Dr Fritz and his staff and started seeing me the very next day and offered me exactly what I needed and it was just someone to listen and not tell me what I was messed up about or diagnosed right after instead he made me feel human and not crazy and I began the process of healing. I’ve made significant progress and if you’re someone like me looking for the perfect doctor to listen and not shove their coping skills or make weekly challenges and above all need just understanding Dr. Franke offers that. He knows his stuff he’s an older cat who’s defiantly been around the block a few times which was why I trusted him and his opinion. His receptionists are great aswell they even

Weird

Saw this Dr. once. Walked in to see this 400-500lb man sitting in a large chair that you would have at your house. Total waste of my time and money. He seemed totally disinterested. Was more interested in if I was coming back each week, took little to no notes, asked me what I thought he should do and what medicine I wanted!! It was the most bizarre experience with a Dr. ever. Needless to say I have no intention of going back.

The receptionist Sherry is an absolute scammer! She's a liar and only cares about the company. She lied about checking my insurance. The doctor had me see him every week (now I know why) and every single time I was told I had no copay. Later I get a bill in the mail from them for $300. I called my insurance and find out that my insurance doesn't even cover mental health benefits. When I confronted her, she denied it. And now I'm having to pay $625 apparently after giving me numbers over text!
