In 1994 I had brain surgery and I had never had a seizure since. Thank you Dr Meyer

Dr. Meyer was amazing from the time I first met him through my 1st surgery and all of my questions following the surgery. I had to have a revision surgery done 18 months after that to help control pain from the first surgery. He was very up front that there was only a 50% chance of success but said if that’s what I wanted we would go through with the surgery. He ended up preforming the surgery and it was successful! They were great on following up to see how my recovery was going and are always open to questions. If I ever need to see a neurosurgeon again Dr. Meyer will be my first choice!

I do recommend Dr. Meyer to anyone facing neurosurgery. Dr. Meyer saved my life in 2001 with successful aneurysm surgery. Dr. Meyer and his staff are the best this country has to offer.

I traveled to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN to undergo a surgical procedure to eliminate a fusiform aneurysm by STA MCA Bypass, and I am so glad that I did. Doctor Meyer and his team were incredible and their professionalism was far beyond expectation. Doctor Frederick Meyer performed what was described as a very complex and difficult surgical procedure. Thank God that I decided to see Dr Meyer. He is truly professional, compassionate and in my opinion the best neurosurgeon in the world!!

He is the best neurosurgeon in the world! Not only that but he is a kind, positive, honest, sympathetic and incredible person who gave me faith and whom I trusted. I'm so grateful that I had him as my doctor at Mayo Clinic. I am 32 and had pylocitic astrocytoma a few yrs ago, and am epileptic. I live in Chicago and had met many neurosurgeons but was disappointed and almost lost hope. For my second surgery, I went to Mayo Clinic for the first time, and Dr. Meyer saved me, Im lucky and grateful!

I was very fortunate that a doctor that we knew from Mayo refereed us to Dr. Meyer. I underwent two surgeries with him to treat Pituitary Macroadenoma. The surgery with him was my second and third surgery. My first unsuccessful surgery was with another doctor from Neuroscience group in WI. Dr. Meyer was confident from the beginning and was able to remove my tumor which was very large thru Trans-Nasal approach. In my opinion he is the best neurosurgeon in the US for treating Pituitary tumors.
