Talks trash about mental health professionals
Wait time was ridiculous (40+ minutes). Talks trash about my psychotherapist, saying they are not a doctor because they are not a MD even though they have a doctorate in psychology, etc. This eats up my psychiatry appointment time and the comment made me depressed as F. Staff now demands my SS number when I returned after some years away, even though I don't owe her $ and insurance pays 100%.

I've been a patient of Doctor Jacobs for 11 years now and I love her. She is honest and real with me. The only problem is that there is not enough her to go around. I would love to beable to see her more often like when we first started treatment but now I think she is too busy. She does understand what you need and listens to you during sessions. I won't see anyone else but Doc Jacobs. She is great!

My sister and I used to go to this doctor and we got worse with her. She put us on the wrong medication, didn't listen to us when we told her about binge eating, excessive shopping, etc.. it was so bad there was even a point were I was constantly was throwing up and her reaction was along the lines of. Oh, I'm sorry this is happening to you, but good job on losing weight. It got so bad I was committed into an instatute and got the help she wasn't providing.

She is NEVER on time, always at least 45 minutes behind your appointment time. Unacceptable.

I have seen this Doctor for almost ten years now! And it seems like everything keeps getting worse. She doesn't seem to be very on "on track" with her patients. She also has a very fake personality. Their are times I got to an appointment and she just prescribes me my medication and doesn't really care to know how I'm doing. She's always in a rush. She really needs to get organized. I call and leave several voicemails when I need her and she never responds. I now will be switching Doctors.

I would NOT recommend her at all to any one! She is very unprofessional and forgets half the things you say to her so you have to constantly repeat yourself. She does NOT have a genuine personality. She just cares about giving you pills because that's how she makes her money. She puts up a fake bubbly persona. Her staffing also is constantly overcharging me and are very unfriendly. They seem very un organized. Do NOT waste your time coming to this office. This Doctor is a joke!

Jacobs consistently gave a run-around. She refused to give med records (until I was reporting her), pharmacy called 5 times to get meds corrected (she blamed CVS), not sending lab results (which she ordered) to primary doctor (she blamed PCP), and saying I cannot ask questions during appointment UNLESS I post questions in portal 2 days before appointment. She blamed EVERYONE ELSE for dropping ball - including therapists, case mgr, but it's all her! And you will be lucky IF someone answers phone.

Dr. Jacobs is amazing however her office is full of flaws. First off you have to make sure you're in the office for your appointment at least an hour ahead of time just to wait over an hour to be seen. Her scheduling is awful! Once I had an appointment canceled because Dr. Jacobs was sick & I wasn't rescheduled until over a month later. I've also had issues with the staff leaving me voicemails in Spanish, after I have addressed the fact that I speak English.
