Stay away from this Dr.
Todd is the WORST communicator I've ever had to deal with. Hard to believe he's a professional. It truly pains him to speak to a patient. You see, he's just too far superior to any other human being. I'm a Mensa, don't usually reveal that, but to make my point: I have the mental capacity to speak with and to understand a physician. Even other doctors have told me Todd felt too superior to acknowledge or speak with them. After he did my surgery, he had only this to say, 'I'm OK with that'. He then left the room, not to return. I could not ask any questions or get any more information. Saying he is condescending and rude is an understatement.

I have know Dr. Todd for over 35 years. He has performed 3 neck surgeries and implanted a SCS in my back. His medical attention has been right on. His office wait time is normal for a doctor. You need to asked him your questions. I would use him again in a heart beat.

Savant or a hole
Dr Todd may be a savant with a knife but he REALLY DROPPED THE BALL with my wife. He's failed to provide even basic post spinal surgery pain meds going for more than a day now. My wife is in GREAT pain. We were referred to him by our pain mgmt doc. He was the only spinal surgeon in Dallas to accept Texas Medicade we were told. He sent my for a second MRI. We got a call from his hospital to schedule surgery. Still not knowing what's to be done. We were told to get there by 515 because we'd have in to complete. Dr Todd showed at 720 ish, never introduced himself, and planned on cutting (without our knowing what he had planned). I demanded he tell us and he rolled off some medical speech (witch I sware was meant to put me in my place) This morning his staff threw him under the bus. They said, and I quote, "she was tired of getting yelled at when she'd done HER JOB". Meaning that Dr Todd did not do his. IT'S HIS JOB TO APPROVE AND SUBMIT OPIOID PERSCRIPTIONS

I just competed my 3rd cervical fusion two weeks ago following other cervical fusions and one lumbar surgery with Dr. Todd over the last 12 years. Each time he's operated on me, he's reduced my symptoms and vastly improved my quality of life. He is not, however, a touchy-feely doctor and if you go to see him without proper pre-work, e.g. X-rays, Myelogram, neurologist's report, etc., to help him describe your condition, he's liable to disappoint you. While I've managed to establish some pretty good rapport with Dr. Todd over those years, I've never gone to see him for his charm and personality. So if you want a quality professional who has a good chance of improving your spine issues, I highly recommend him for you.

In 12 years his bedside manners have not improved. His waiting time is 4-5 hours and he has a God complex. VERY RUDE!

Office staff is great, but unfortunately they aren't the ones you have to depend on for medical care. Dr. Todd is impatient, in a hurry and doesn't listen. His nurse Linda lacks the compassion necessary for someone in her line of work and goes from zero to extremely rude in a second before getting her facts straight. Five stars for office staff and zero stars for the medical team - I urge you to find another doctor's office for proper care and compassion!

Horrible bedside manner. As a neurologist who could potentially save a life, he has no hope or passion for the patient. I wish I had read this and requested another doctor.

I had a bulging disk that would have repaired itself and doctor Todd knew this, but lied to me and said I needed surgery. I have so much nerve and scar tissue damage. That I am in excruciating pain 24/7. I am now bedridden because of this. Also, he left on vacation 4 times within a year and each time he left me without a prescription. The first time he did he promised not to do it again. But he did do it again 3 more times. Get 3 opinions. Do not go by his opinions. He ruined my life.

I knew what the doctor was going to say before he came in the room , I was referred by my pain management doc , they both made their minds up before they even seen me , they went off the radiologists report , he told me there was nothing wrong with me , then why am I in so much pain ? I'm not so sure about the Dr.Todds credibility seeing several other Neurosurgeons ha w said I need surgery . This guy tried to tell me there was nothing wrong with me , which would imply that I was lying about the
