Best Doctor
I have been seeing Dr. Fred Karoub as my primary since he started his practice. He is the most empathetic and thorough physician I have ever had. Listens and spends time to understand and explains well. He's a very kind person and very bright. I have never felt like just a number with him which is common with other physicians. Once when I was hospitalized for an unidentified condition at the time he came in every day to see me and make sure all was going well and monitored my care until the final diagnosis was made. Although staffing has been a bit of a problem, I would rather have a great doctor than a great staff.

Dr is great - office staff not so much!
Dr Karoub cares deeply about his patients, however, his office staff is non-responsive! Sent over pre-authorizations THREE times for the same medication and the request was simply ignored! Chronic disease management is important and to know that my husband is not getting the care that he deserves because he cannot get a form filled out and sent over to CVS pharmacy to get a prescription filled is an absolute travesty! He has called the office several times to get resolution and a year later, he still is unmedicated! Unfortunate reality is that we selected Dr. K for his reputation and now it looks like we are in the market for another Internal Medicine doctor! Would be nice to build a relationship with this office, but his staff has made that impossible.Called to get an appointment with Dr and we are told he is booked out until March! That is a long time to wait!

Don’t use tele-health - your not important
I scheduled an in person appointment for 10:40 on 01/19/2023. A member of my household tested positive for COVID on Friday 1/13/2023. I called the office on Tuesday and was told my appointment would be changed from in person to tele-health. Not what I wanted but wasn’t given the choice to reschedule so said ok. It is now 1:40 pm and I still have not received a call. I did phone them and was told he is busy seeing in person patients. Guess tele-health patients are not important. Will NEVER use tele-health appointments again! What a waste of MY TIME!!

Dr. Frederick Karoub is one of the best Internal Medicine physicians in the area! As a long-term patient, I can attest to his knowledge, expertise and empathy. He remains on the "cutting edge" of medicine and offers his patients the best in the practice of medicine. The challenges of COVID have been mitigated by Dr. Karoub and his staff. For example, while telephone wait-times may be longer (due to the myriad of COVID factors), the dedicated care to patients of his practice remains in tact! I feel fortunate to have a professional like Dr. Karoub in "my corner." Dr. Marilyn Gilbert, Patient

I was seing doctor Frederick and he honestly saved my life. Started at the age of 30 for like 6 years. Then I messed up. I never had any problems and they offered me paying installments. I just made a new appointment and I am praying to GOD that he sees me again. I have a doctor now but he always look tired and he is also good but not as good as doctor Fred. Before covid there was no wait. I see people are complaining about wait and such a things but while I was seeing him it was all good. Once I fell and he helped me and got me in wouth appointment. P.A. are as well amazing and complete staff. He can be your doctor and friend if you are really open to him and treat you in variety of conditions. Nihad Okanovic.

The doctor is friendly. However, they have a third party company to process billing. When I had a billing problem. I called the third party company and they told me to call the doctor office, and the doctor office asked me to call the third party company (Even worse, they just put me on hold for an hour...). No one is willing to help to resolve the issue. If you choose this office, you won't have an issue until you encounter a billing error. Because of this, I decided to switch to another physician.

I have been seeing Dr. Fred for several years now. I absolutely cannot say enough about him. Besides being super smart, he is a very caring and compassionate person. While you may wait a bit, he has always worked me in when needed. So while you’re waiting, please keep in mind that it could be you next time making other patients wait while you are worked in! I thought it would be hard to find someone as good as my old doc in another state but darned if Dr. Fred didn’t exceed my expectations. Love the man!

Dr. Fred may have a bit of a wait but that seems to be due to the fact that he gives you quality time once you see him. He has always followed up and explained things well. He has been a great doctor in my experience.

This is absolutely true. I diagnosed my own gallbladder disease AND my hypothyroidism. Dr. Fred kept telling me, “I guarantee you if you lose 20 pounds, you’ll feel better.” He must have told me that 6 times while I was complaining that I didn’t feel well. Who wouldn’t feel better losing some weight? Trust your instincts. I eventually had my gallbladder out and I found an endocrinologist who helped me greatly. This doc has too many patients to offer them good quality care.

I strongly recommend Dr. Fred Karoub. In addition to being a great doctor from a medical standpoint, he is patient, caring, compassionate and always at the ready to listen and act to the benefit of the patient. I've never felt like it was burdening him with my multitude of questions and concerns. Simply put, Dr. Karoub is who you want in your corner when it counts.

I love Dr.Karoub but the staff and wait time could use a little help. At my last appoitment I waited over 2hrs, when scheduling my next appoitment I asked if I'll be waiting again that long, the response simply was "well it depends on how many emergencies we take". Oh thanks for reassuring me that I'm not a priority. A simple apology, regardless if it was his/her fault would go a long way. Currently looking for a new office.

I actually really liked Dr. Fred and was pleased with his care and bedside manner, but his office staff was difficult to work with and somewhat rude. I was having discomfort so I called several times on a Monday and was put on hold each time. Hold times ranged from 10 to 40 minutes! I finally was able to leave a message for his staff but I never got a call back. The next day I tried again and it was more of the same (10 minutes on hold). Once I did connect the person was not apathetic.
