Dr. Frederick Clare, MD

Dr. Clare was very dismissive from the begining. He asked me why was I here, I thought it was a rhetorical question, he spoke in the command. He clearly did not concern himself with discussing my private health with anyone who came into the room, the intial attending nurse or assistant was more considerate, he invited another medical party into the room. I wanted my yearly PAP, and it was rescheduled a year late due to Covid. He seemed to think it was not necessary or urgent despite my telling him it was in my chart that it was needed yearly and to be monitored. He told all in the room my condition despite my objections, and his attitude was belittling. He is arrogant and ill mannered.

Dr. Clare was extremely unprofessional and I heard him discussing my case from another room and LAUGHING at my situation. Extremely insensitive and clearly not worried about my care. Only came into the room to speak to me (I asked multiple times to speak to him directly) after I waited for over an hour and after sending in 2 other people. If I could hear him talk about my case from another room with the door closed, how many other people have heard my medical documents? This is a HIPPA violation. This doctor does not care about my well being and only cares about how many patients he can get in and out of a room. HE IS THE TYPE OF DOCTOR THAT WILL NOT TAKE YOUR HEALTH CLAIMS SERIOUS. TRUST YOUR GUT AND FIND A DOCTOR WHO ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS AND NOT THE MONEY.

AVOID! AVOID!! AVOID!!! We had a really terrible experience with this doctor. My wife went for the Annual GYN Exam (Physical), so when my wife said she came for a her "Physical", the doctor laughed at us for using that word. He thinks it is a word that people from former British colonies use! WTH! He spent maybe 10 mins examining my wife, all the while singing a song. Didn't really listen to the patient about her concerns. Didn't really explain any complication other than saying it all looks good. And then few months later, I get a bill for $1,100 for what was supposed to be a preventive care visit of no charge! I called the Hospital and the insurance 50+ times and all they said is that the doctor had determined that the visit was not preventive although there were no issues. When I insisted on getting the the diagnostic codes, guess what the doctor has prescribed for labs? a bunch of STD tests and the report says "male AND female partnerS"! Scheduling an appointment with Dr. Clare was a huge mistake. After waiting for 2 hours, I've learned there were other people still before me and the doctor just stepped out and the stuff didn't have an answer when he would return. No apologies, no explanation.I was charged for my co-pay even if I had to leave. Totally unprofessional. I will never go back to his office.
