Dr. Barnum is a superb and marvellous physician. He has treated me a few times with pain on my calves. He talks me through what he is doing and educates me on my condition and provides me pointers to help myself out. I’ve seen several physicians for the pain in my calves, but Dr. Barnum stands out to me in several ways. He is truly a caring physician who wants nothing but the best for his patients. He is down to earth and knowledgeable and makes sure that you’re taken well cared of. He is communicative and professional and makes the trip to the doctor seem like an enjoyable experience. He looks like a young physician, but that just means that his practice is up to date and provides the best techniques possible, but a great bonus is that he does have a great amount of experience to back it all up. I always leave the doctor’s office with my pain alleviated. I have seen several doctors before, but none of them match the charismatic energy that Dr. Barnum illuminates.

My son is an adult with developmental disabilities-cerebral palsy as result of significant prematurity. Dr Barnum has been his primary physician for several years. His care of Daniel has been excellent. He is thoughtful and treats Daniel with respect. I also have observed Dr Barnum sharing his skills with younger medical students. As with Daniel, his guidance is excellent. We will miss Dr Barnum.

I was starting to lose hope after every other specialist said that they couldn’t figure out where my pain was coming from. I really didn’t want to have to go through another unnecessary surgery either. Then I saw Dr. Barnum. He took his time with me, figured it out right away, and in less than a week I felt amazing. His bedside manner is absolutely wonderful as well. I would highly recommend Dr. Barnum to anyone who has had a story similar to mine!

Dr. Barnum is an excellent physician. He relieved my neck, shoulder, lower back and knee pain in ONE VISIT. He showed great assessment skills and was very thorough in taking a medical history. He explained every single procedure and executed them perfectly. I walked out of his exam room pain free and re-energized. I highly recommend him. Dr Barnum had amazing results with osteopathic manipulation with my shoulder’s mobility! The increase in mobility was dramatic! I could barely raise my arm, it was bound when I entered his office! And I had close to full range Of motion when I left his office! Dr Barnum was professional, compassionate, educating, effective and efficient with his treatment! I was in excellent hands and am deeply grateful for the help and healing I received! I drove up from Austin to receive this treatment! It was more than worth the trip!!

On June 4, 2019, I was treated by Dr. Barnum while admitted to the hospital for a blockage of my small intestine. Previous hospitalizations for this recurring condition have lasted 6 days to 2 weeks. This time I spent four days in the hospital. I cannot explain it, and I was so relaxed I cannot describe it, but it worked and I'm grateful.

Dr. Barnum is one of the best physicians I have ever seen. He not only cared for my well being but me as a human - which is rare to find. If you want quality, compassion, and accuracy, you must go to him. He not only gave me great care with my muscles and spine but he gave me reassurance. I will keep going back to him for as long as I can. He is a rare find for any patient or physician to go see.

All of my appointments with Dr. Barnum bave been nothing but great experiences. He has an excellent bedside manner which inspires trust that everything will be fine and that he will be there every step of the way. He is also an excellent physician when it comes to lower back pain and muscle pain. He is singlehandedly responsible for curing me of years of back pain through his hands on treatments, something no medication could ever do! I look forward to bringing my own kids to him in the future!

Dr. Barnum’s level of care is outstanding! He always takes the time to listen and figure out what the real problem is. Thanks to his OMM treatments, the range of motion and pain levels in my knee with osteoarthritis have improved. He is very knowledgeable in his field and has a great personality. Dr. Barnum is VERY knowledgeable of how the different parts of the body interconnect, and so he can diagnose issues that other doctors miss. I had neck pain, and Dr. Barnum traced the problem to the fact that I grind my teeth together. (The tension in my jaw made my neck muscles spasm.) Other doctors knew that I ground my teeth, but they didn't care, because they never thought about how my jaw might affect other body parts. Dr. Barnum looks at the whole picture, and makes exceptional deductions!
