Poor treatment and duty of care.
Vaughn failed to refer testing patient with reoccurring falls. Prescribed physical therapy multiple times with no improvement. Refused to discuss family members concerns of safety. Looked at his watch, it was time for lunch, and walked away from family member, dismissing extreme cause for concern. Gave clean bill of health, the patient fell that day, had brain bleed and died less than 60 days of said visit. During final days, I asked for a prescription for bedsores, didn't call it in for two days. Requested a hospital bed and lift for home use, he denied. Patient was bedridden and completely immobile. Patient had over 80% bilateral blockage in carotid arteries. Shouldn't have gone unchecked for over 40 falls, 2 broken hips, broken femur, immobile for over 3 years. Wouldn't recommend for anyone who is looking for competent care.

My husband sees Dr. Vaughan. This is the worst office I have ever dealt with. They say to call the prescription refill line to get prescriptions refilled and to not call the office. For years they do not ever actually call the prescription in and I have to go through a lot of back and forth with the office to get a prescription called in. One day she told me that Dr. Vaughan is very busy. So my husband isn’t? Maybe they shouldn’t take in as many patients because obviously Dr. Vaughan is not someone who can handle it. Guess what, the people calling in to the office are PATIENTS TOO! I hate dealing with these people and wish my husband would go somewhere else. I called the prescription refill line last week. They called my husband and said they don’t know why his wife called the prescription refill line when that prescription was already called in. I called the pharmacy and I should be shocked by what they said, but I’m not. A prescription was never called in.
