The Best of the Best
I saw Dr. Terrell for many years when he was with CHI Saint Joseph. I trust this man with my life! He has been the best Urologist that I have ever been to. I have recurring kidney stones and he has had to perform 2 surgeries to remove stones, and one involved a hospitalization for pyelonephritis. He worked hard to save my kidney, as I am a Type 2 diabetic. He did save that kidney. He is dedicated and truly cares about his patients. Since moving to Corbin KY, I have yet to find a Urologist with the care and attentiveness that he has shown me. I miss him.

Best Urologist
Personable, explains your diagnosis and his treatment. He is going to Simi retire soon and I'm wondering what happens when another stone hits. I wish you well on retirement. I can only hope you still find time to help me when pain hits and I have experienced 1st hand that no one else understands the way you do.Thank you

Caring, comprehensive and professional
Dr. Terrell provided us with all the answers we needed before, during and after our first visit. He demonstrated empathy and concern while maintaining a professional demeanor. His understanding of my husband's health concerns went far and beyond the typical office visit. We are both grateful for his dedication and care for his patients.

Trusted surgeon, bad practice
I believe Dr. Terrell is an excellent surgeon, but lately his practice leaves much to be desired. Staff is often hateful, never accommodating. There are NEVER any appointments available in my urgent situations. Twice they have forgotten to call me back about POSITIVE urine cultures. Once it was almost a MONTH past! I’m beyond frustrated to say the least. There are too many patients and not enough time to go around for everyone. I could go on about his staff’s shortcomings but just take my word for it—they won’t go out of their way to help you. Urgent care’s services have been more reliable than my own urologist’s office. I need to switch physicians but a good doctor is hard to find.

Not only a Doctor, a friend..
I've been seeing Dr. Terrell for over 10 years. He has treated me successfully for removal of kidney stones, uti, and most recently prostate cancer. I am a survivor because of Dr Terrell, he treats his patients as he would his own family.....

He is excellent. He is the most knowledgeable urologist I have ever been to and I will go to him as long as he's in practice. He is very caring for his patients and takes great care. He is very kind and gentle. One of the best doctors- and people- that I know.
