Dr. Fred Vecchione, DDS

The doctor was fantastic, taking the time to explain everything clearly. However, the support staff's attitude was disappointing. When I tried to reschedule my appointment a week in advance, a staff member refused, citing her lengthy hold time with insurance and incorrectly claiming they were the only in-network option. To make matters worse, two hours after my canceled appointment, I received a call about a cancellation fee. Overall, a wonderful doctor but a frustrating administrative experience.

I am terrified of dental extractions. Dr. Vecchione and his office staff are professional, gracious, kind and calming. They were compassionate and helpful to allow me to relax for this procedure. This meant everything to me and I highly recommend them. Dr, Vecchione's pre and post procedure instructions were clear and accurate, explaining everything that I needed to know. I would give them a 10 out of 10!!

Dr. Vecchione explained everything , gave me all the choices as far as anesthesia for the surgery. Place was beyond clean. Staff is caring and very professional. Would highly recommend them. Now that I was a patient and everything went well I will bringing my 3 children for their wisdom teeth .

Clear explanations for recommended procedures. Excellent post-op patient instructions and check-ups. Scrupulous, never rushing procedures.

I had an emergency when a tooth cracked totally in half. Dr. Vecchione took care of it with an expertise that was laudable. Sherry, and the staff, were friendly, and professional. The office, rest rooms, an operating rooms were clean, and immaculate. I never doubted I was going to have the best possible outcome whenever I had an appointment for whatever procedure my situation deemed necessary. I would recommend Mercer Oral Surgery to anyone looking for quality care.

Our daughter just had 4 wisdom teeth extracted yesterday, and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Dr. Vecchione's practice! From the welcoming Sherry at the front desk who coached me through all I needed to do with aftercare, to nurse Kathy who took great care of my daughter post-surgery and made her feel so comfortable, and to Dr. Vecchione who skillfully performed the surgery... this was a great experience all around. Would highly recommend this practice without hesitstion.

I had a good experience having two teeth pulled. I liked the doctor. The office and staff were nice. And I got a nice care package afterwards.

My college kid just had two impacted wisdom teeth removed at Dr. Vecchione's office. The office was very cozy and pristine, the receptionist and nurse were so warm and professional, and Dr. Vecchione was considerate and explained everything clearly. We did the consultation on Monday, and on Wednesday the surgery was performed smoothly. We really couldn't think of a greater experience than this. Highly recommend Dr. Vecchione to all friends.

Dr Vecchione and his entire staff are amazing. They made my daughter’s wisdom tooth removal so easy and helped her tremendously with her nervousness. I am a nurse and this office runs like an OR completely sterile beyond spotless. Highly recommend.

Well, whoever rated this office/doctor with 1 star much have been hallucinating. Just had my first visit. Couldn’t have been more helpful, kind and interested in me as a patient. AND the office was spotless, as if I was the first person in a brand new practice! ??

My son Jason was asked by his dentist to see an oral surgeon to have his wisdom teeth looked at. I called Dr Vecchione's office,from the conversation I was made to feel very comfortable.Also,they were willing to help with my insurance. My son was terrified,the doctor and the staff made it as pleasant an experience as possible .Also, the office is immaculate.I will not hesitate calling them again for any family needs and of course I 100 % recommend them to all my friends and family.

After struggling for a year with two molars each having an initial root canal and then a repeated one, the mild pain and sensitivity started to become more intense pain. My dentist referred me to Dr. Vecchione. He offered either local anesthesia or IV sedation (my choice). Sedation made it so much easier than previous extraction experiences. Excellent instructions, medication as needed, and it was perhaps the easiest dental visit I've ever had. I definitely recommend him.

I brought both children to have their wisdom teeth removed,it could not have gone any better. Office is immaculate,staff is compassionate and the doctor really cares about his patients. I would recommend this office is a heartbeat. My mother who is in her 80's recommended Dr .Vecchione after having some teeth removed for a denture.She was right-Perfect in every way.

I would definitely recommend this office. It was immaculate. The staff is so compassionate and professional. Dr. Vecchione explained everything at the initial visit and answered all my questions. My daughter's surgery went perfect.The evening check in phone call was so nice.More offices should be like this one.

Dr, Vecchione did two recent surgeries for me including 2 impacted wisdom teeth extractions. I put off as long as I could but he put me at ease & did a perfect job! I could not of asked for a better outcome. His staff/nurse, Sherry, Gina & Paula made me so comfortable. As for me, I couldn't imagine going anywhere else!!

He lacks the most important skill that a healthcare professional should have –LISTENING! He does not listen to his patients and thus, cannot address their needs effectively. The care that he provides is not patient-centered but doctor-centered and serves only Dr. Vecchione’s egocentric nature expressed through his horrible attitude!

DO NOT DO NOT go to Dr. Vecchione. Horrible man, horrible office.
