I have full confidence in Dr. Avery, he is one of the best in his field! I have had 2 surgeries with him, including a complicated osteotomy. Dr. Avery and his team have excellent bedside manner and are focused on optimal patient outcomes. I highly recommend him.

My initial visit was due to shoulder trouble. From the first 5 minutes in his office I felt more comfortable and trusted him better than any other doctor I had ever had. He listened, answered questions and didn't rush me out the door. I did have shoulder surgery and my care has been excellent; it will be one year in September. Thanks to Dr. Avery and his team for the great care I have received. I would highly recommend him, and have done so.

LITERAL 15 minute surgery. Nurse told me time in and time out. CRAZY BLEEDING FIRST 2 DAYS. Bleed through bandage ruining bed sheets and mattress. Had to take an ambulance to hospital. I followed the instructions I was given and it told me to hang up and call 911. $1500 bill. I went back the next day and met with one of the surgeons (2 days post op). He proceeds to march me at an incredibly fast/strenuous pace through the entire hospital while im on crutches to change my bandage. I was in severe pain for 2 days because of this. On my 2 week post op Dr Avery wasnt even there. The on call Doctor didnt have a clue about my case and spent about 30 seconds with me. Dr Avery was well aware of my condition. I spoke with him on the phone. Still didnt bother to show up. This was flat out disrespectful on top of being incredibly unprofessional. 6 months out my knee feels weak. Catches on something on the inside. And is frequently swollen.

Dr Avery repaired my shoulder torn rotor cuff etc.. two years ago.... For once in my life I actually followed the Dr's instructions , did the PT religiously and had an amazing result....Pain free and my shoulder is better than it's been in 30 years....The staff was great and the comfort level as a day surgery patient was excellent.

Once running the very difficult gauntlet of getting an appointment the providers are great. The office staff needs help with people skills, follow through on phone calls and general attitude toward patients. In general they are frustrating and off putting.
