Dr. Frantz Francisque, MD

I have a rare hereditary blood disorder. It is impossible to find a physician who has heard about this disorder. When it comes to hematologists most have heard of it but I have found that not all have a lot of experience with it. I literally put him through an interview and questioned his ability to care for me. My family and I have learned the hard way that we have to because this disorder can be fatal. He was not arrogant at all. He was very patient me. Answered every question. And in the end stated that he would confer with certified specialist when needed, which is exactly what I wanted to hear. I do see specialists which are almost 2 hours away but see him locally. TRUST ME. If he were not good. I would not be seeing him.

This doctor never once examined me. He sat and read me each pathology report he received. Never did any research himself. Was supposed to send my bone marrow biopsy to a university for a specialist to read, waited 4 weeks for my follow up, and found out it was never sent. Tried to tell me my mouth ulcers from low platelets were my fault. Arrogant and incompetent.
