I have diagnosed with CSF Leak at the beginning of August after having severe headache for 2 months. It was caused by a bone spur at T5-T6 section. Dr. Mihlon performed myelogram and guided blood patch towards the end of August. It was a difficult process because of the location of the leak and spine surgery was always on the table. 2 days after blood patch I had rebound intracranial hypertension. Dr. Mihlon asked me to come to emergency room and he did a lumbar puncture to decrease pressure. Thankfully everything worked well and I went back to my normal life. 6 weeks after blood patch my brain MRI came out normal. Dr. Mihlon is a great doctor. He knows what he is doing and explains every step in detail. He kept in touch with me from the beginning of diagnosis till now. It was great to be able to talk to him when I felt something abnormal (symptoms of both CSF leak and recovery can be confusing). I highly recommend him whoever suffering from CSF Leak.
