I’m a 67 year old man that has had problems with my ears for a year now (fluid and dizziness). I saw Dr. Hixon about a year ago for the first time. He was a little short and I felt like he couldn’t get me out of there quick enough. I left wondering what to do next. I fought my problem for 10 months by going to emergency rooms and my family doctor with occasional relief for short periods of time. I thought I would give Dr. Hixon another try since it has been almost a year. He was rude and short. I felt as though he was angry about me being there. He reviewed my charts and denied a fluid issue without looking at my ears. Then decided to look and said there was fluid but didn’t think he could help. I can understand that to a degree, but can’t understand his snappy attitude. Maybe he chose the wrong profession since he apparently has no patience dealing with people. I’m done with him.
