Highly recommend
Highly recommend Dr. Fetterolf. He is open minded and if I disagree with him on something, he will hear me out and adjust. He truly listens to me and also treats me like a real person. Some of these reviews say he is too casual, for me his manner makes me feel very comfortable and seen. He's also very insightful and good at explaining things in a simple, understandable way.

Unprofessional
Telehealth
After one appointment where we talked exclusively about chronic depression, SA, and anxiety, he started my second appointment asking if I'm 'a little aspy'. I kid you not. I truly have no idea where he came up with that. He also mis-remembered what I'm most anxious about and when he finally remembered, he basically cheered for himself. He smiles when talking about the most awful things.Awkward, unprofessional, unprepared.

Seems Inexperienced
Nice enough, probably well intentioned but for the seriousness of the subjects being discussed he seems inexperienced and a bit too casual.

Find a better one
Just had my last appointment with him a couple days ago. He was very rude and dismissive over my issues, loves to talk to constantly prove his point and ego and not get into med discussions, very condescending and judgmental, never bothers to think where he is wrong. Find a better psychiatrist that does not stick to fixed ideas formed by his own misconceptions. He is the definition of the word dense

I highly recommend Dr. Fetterolf. He is competent and up-to-date about new medicines and breakthroughs in psychiatry. He is easy to talk to and I relate to him well. He returns my phone calls always right away. I have been his patient for several years and have a positive experience.

judgmental, rude, holier-than-thou. he misdiagnosed me and i ended up getting progressively worse under his “care”. he said some things to me that we’re utterly inappropriate and possibly even verbally abusive. wouldn’t recommend him to my worst enemy.

With over 15 years as a mental health patient under my belt I’ve probably encountered at least a dozen psychiatrists and if I include therapists/counselors, that number is easily doubled. Dr. Fetterolf is among the best. He is articulate and well-educated, I could have guessed as much from his website headshot, but I was personally surprised by how down to earth and kind he is. His practice is based on “Psychodynamic Psychiatry” and I had no idea what that meant before I started working with him, but now that I do, I’m not sure I’ll ever go back to the more “traditional” psychiatrist/patient dynamic that almost exclusively involved medication management. Every health care practice claims to be “patient-centered” but Dr. Fetterolf is one of those providers who actually is. He takes many aspects of my life, medical history, and personality into consideration and has never tried to utilize a one size fits all approach to my treatment.

After seeking treatment with various psychiatrists and therapists, I stumbled upon Dr. Fetterolf. Not only did he take the time to get to know me and my life experiences before diagnosing me, but he has always ensured I was fully involved and agreed with the plan of treatment. He's always made it a priority to stay on top of the latest research and is always willing to discuss it with me. He is very patient focused and has gone out of his way on multiple occasions to accommodate whatever various needs/requests I have.

First of all he seems to be insecure and judgmental. Not rude but judgmental and not empathetic. I have talked to a Ph.D professional after his diagnosis. This Dr. said that his diagnosis don’t make sense because they contradict each other.
