Very compassionate and professional
My father was transferred to Hackensack University, from Raritan Bay Medical Center (Perth Amboy), where he was treated for Covid Pneumonia. Dr. DiRoma accepted my father as the receiving physician, knowing the severity of his case. Dr. DiRoma, and the entire ICU team were outstanding to say the least. Dr. DiRoma was thoroughly informative about all treatment options for my family to consider, and understanding of our thoughts on each. His daily updates on my father were timely, compassionate, and supportive. Dr. DiRoma and the ICU staff were undeniably attentive, at all times, while caring for and treating my father - which meant so much tomy family and I, knowing the top-tier level of care my father was receiving.

Dr. Diroma is knowledgeable, understanding and compassionate. Explained medications and answered questions that we had as a family. His staff was very attentive to my husband’s needs as well as my family’s. When I would leave the hospital I knew my husband was in the best place with excellent care.

A Truly Fantastic Doctor
Dr. Diroma's care for my dad was above and beyond. He and his team were thoughtful, warm, explanatory, and encouraging. Each time we asked, he explained what was going on clearly, provided our options in a straightforward, understandable manner, and made sure we knew what the outcomes might be for any decisions we made.
