A seasoned pro, with excellent interaction skills
This was my initial visit after being referred from primary care for a potential heart murmur and follow up echocardiogram. Dr. Conte is very experienced and will take all the time needed to give you an in depth explanation of your condition and potential treatment paths. I give him top marks for medical knowledge and personal skills, highly recommended.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Conte?
I was being seen by Dr. Conte for A-Fib and voiced my concern regarding dizziness and double vision. He told me to see a Neurologist. I did as told and had an MRI of my head which came back normal. After that I had a virtual appointment with Dr. Conte and again voiced my concern about the issue. A month later I was intubated in an ambulance and rushed to IU West in critical condition. The main artery in my heart was 100% blocked (the widow maker) and another artery was blocked 30%. I was on a ventilator in critical condition for days and almost didn’t survive. I feel that everything that happened to me could have been avoided and would have been found simply with an X-ray from the beginning. I trusted him and it almost cost my life.

Dr. Conti takes the time to listen to you after he has thoroughly discussed his concerns and (hopefully) accolades. I have had several Cardiologists over the past 20 years and Dr. Conti is by far the best at listening, explaining and caring.
