Fixed ulcer & Referral that Saved Husband's Life!
After repairing my husband's perforated ulcer, Doctor Collins told him and I that he needed to go get his esophagus checked. This unofficial referral led my husband eventually to The University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, where he underwent an 11.5 hour surgery for esphageal cancer. My husband has hadan additional 10 plus years of life due to this early warning! Although much time has gone by before making this review, I am happy to finally do that. We can't thank Dr. Collin's enough for his amazing observance & direction! And there's been no more ulcer-related problem either!

I highly recommend this surgeon
Dr. Collins fit me in quickly for gall bladder removal surgery after a very painful gallbladder attack that landed me in the hospital. He has a good "bedside manner" but more importantly in this regard, he is a great surgeon. The operation was done laparoscopically, there was very little pain post-surgery, and I am left with teeny-tiny little scars. He was very thorough post-op as well, taking great care to make sure that everything was A-OK. Dr. Collins' staff were also excellent to work with, pleasant and efficient, and willing to go the extra mile by calling back with a cancelation to fit me in sooner. I would highly recommend this surgeon and this practice. ~Janice E.

Dr. Collins operated on my husband April 15,2019 and his speedy recovery and lack of pain was amazing !! Also while I was in the waiting room there were lots of family's also waiting but Dr. Collins was the only Doctor that came down to talk to any of us after the surgery and most of the other families had already left the waiting area without their loved ones surgeon coming in to speak to them. We highly recommend this surgeon. My husband really likes him. Telling everyone about him.
