Personally like Dr. Ashburn, but his staff leaves much to be desired. Recently had a mini requirement for an eye drop prescription. The staff at every level were impossible to deal with. I ended up going to a CVS mini-clinic where they saw the problem and wrote the prescription within minutes of the exam. I was very disappointed in the staffs attitude. One of the idiots at the desk asked if I had the prescription name. I said No - that's why I am here to have one filled.I won't be back.

Had very (bad) expensive cataract surgery with Dr. Ashbury, Jr. and was not happy with the results. Although I told him at the beginning of our association that I had Lazy Eye all of my life which was not corrected, he never mentioned that Cataract Surgery, would not correct it and that my vision would never be that good. It wasn't until I had the surgery in both eyes and had no improvement in the first eye, that he finally mentioned that I would never have good vision in the Lazy Eye
