Dr. Francisco Recalde, MD

Office staff are rude and incompetent. Will outright refuse to do things or lie about it. Called 14v times in two days to get one form faxed to an orthopedic specialist. Took over 6 weeks to even see the ortho. On top of that lost access to my disability insurance because they simply wouldnt fill out the form. Do not come here.

Horrible. Rude and uncaring Doctor. Nurse practitioners are more personable but do not follow through. We waited for an appt for an ear infection, were advised we needed to see a ENT specialist and that a referral would be issued, FIVE WEEKS later, we still don't have it. We keep calling, they keep saying they will send it to the ENT, ENT never receives it. This has been a recurring experience there, we are changing drs.

I would give it a - 5. I was in a car accident. They discovered I had a blood clot behind my knee. Hospital gave me injections twice daily for 18 days. Said it could kill me . It will be 70 till my ultra sound. This Dr never put the order in I had To keep calling a calling. It's horrible. They change my prescriptions for muscle relaxers from 1 every 4 hrs to one a day without even telling me. I liked the girls up front. But the PA was very judgmental of me to the point of rudeness.

As someone who recently left corporate (PPO) insurance, I've had great experiences with Dr Recalde's office. I've had several appointments with very little wait time, and very professional and friendly service -- shorter waits than on corporate insurance. I had to get a referral and Dr Recalde's office staff was right on top of the details and helped me follow up with the referral physician. Dr.Recalde was very attentive to my 2 year old when we were in the picu at Halifax Hospital. He is very proactive and a wonderful doctor.

Dr. Recalde was fantastic! He was very attentive to my wife and I when our five month old son was admitted to Halifax Medical in Daytona, FL with pneumonia. He came to see us often, keeping us well informed of his thought process and plan of care. I highly recommend.
