Dr. Francisco Garcia Gonzalez, MD

I was sent to Dr. Garcia after having surgery but symptoms continued to get worse. He extremely thorough and found the problem that other doctors missed. He then consulted with a team of surgeons to come up with the best plan. He is no longer at the office I was treated at. I need to make a follow-up appointment but don't know where he went.

Garcia is truly a professional and cares deeply for his patients. He really does treat his patients as if they were his family and what he'd want done for them. I 100% recommend Garcia for anyone.

Dr. Garcia performed a Preventivie Colonoscopy on me. My Primary Care Physician had been discussing this as a preventitive measure since I had passed the normal 45 age. We had discussed this numerous times but his office never got me scheduled. I finally got him to refer me to Dr. Garcia's office. That surgery/procedure went fine. However, his assistant Nurse Practicioner Kara Hobbs, billed the procedure as diagnostic due to me having some issues the week prior to seeing them. I made an appointment with their office, but by the time that the appointment had arrived, I was all back to normal. Kara then set up my Colonscopy appointment. The only reason I went to see them was to get this appointment scheduled. Prior to arriving I was told by two members of Tri-Star that it had been labeled as diagnostic. This man literally saved my life. After 5 years of tests/procedures at Vandy and 3 other hospitals, Dr Garcia finally found a cancerous tumor that had blocked my small intestines. Rare cancer, no one looks for it, very curable, and I am better than I have been in 6 years. I love this man, God bless his work.

I was overwhelmed by his approach to my visit. He listened and wanted to know as much information as possible. My situation (reason for the doctor visit) has been difficult, and he showed so much compassion towards helping to solve what's going on inside my body. Dr. Garcia did not rush my visit and this helped in calming my nerves. I hate going to see doctors, but this visit left me feeling important. To sum it up, Dr. Garcia is a breath of fresh air!
