Dr. Spitz saved my life. He calmed my fears all the way through my surgery and recovery. I was scared the day I walked in his office for the first time, but Dr. Spitz removed every one of my fears and doubts. I cant say enough about him. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He is compassionate, caring, and takes all the time in the world with you at your visits. I had an 8 hour surgery on my liver. Without Dr. Spitz and his team, I wouldn't be here. I am forever grateful to Dr. Spitz and I will miss him and his staff. Thank you Dr. Spitz for being such a wonderful, fantastic surgeon ! He forever will hold a special place in my heart. He is truly amazing !! Karen Bilinski, Medford, NJ

Dr Spitz was my husband's surgeon. We chose him based on his so dedication to his work, the time and research and articles and schooling, the team he works with, Dr Elfant and Dr Hageboutros. Even though my husband tried his hardest to beat pancreatic cancer, He passed on with dignity. 9/11/15. Dr Spitz did everything he could; he couldn't beat it either. Damn that man tried. He was the BEST that my husband couldve had. I'm mad that we didn't hear him sing. Maybe I'll ask him...

My family and I would definitely recommend Dr. Spitz to anyone. Our family member had surgery performed by Dr. Spitz which had a wonerful outcome. Prior to the surgery, our family as well as the patient were frozen with fear but not showing it. We finally confessed this to Dr. Spitz. He very patiently explained what type of cancer the patient had and the method for treating it. He always asked us again and again at each visit if we had any questions, and we had many. Our loved one is doing well.

Dr. Spitz is a phenomenal surgeon. If it weren’t for him I would not be here since April 21, 2017 of this year , due to pancreatic cancer . This amazing man performed a complicated surgery for 15 hours turning my 50% chance into a new life with my husband and my six-year-old daughter . I could not be more grateful for this man’s existence for if it wasn’t for him I would not be here today to tell you this he is highly recommended . I am living proof . He is my life savior .

Dr Spitz I feel is an incredible person not only a great docto.... he made my aunt who is 76 years old feel so relaxed and very confident in every word he spoke to her as well as myself. My issue is when you call the office. I spent a good 22 minutes on hold just to be pushed over to who I was told was Nicole who works with dr. Spitz not not her extension ... I left 2 messages to get no return call. I called a third time to get the same young lady who connect me with Nicole again not Nicole

Recently I was diagnosed with Melanoma. My doctor refereed me to Dr. Spitz at MD Anderson. At first I was scared and afraid of the thought of death. But after I met Dr. Spitz and he took his time and explained everything to me . Well my surgery was a success. Once I made it to the hospital you would have thought I was a close friend of his. I had the best staff I could have asked for. Someone was on call the entire time. Worst sickness ever but he made it very easy for me.???????? Best Ever!!!!!
