Unpleasant encounter
I was experiencing chest pain and went to Bryn Mawr ER. I was not having a heart attack but was kept for observation and moved to a room. I was not admitted and therefore incurred a high hospital bill for staying over twelve hours. I thought I was being kept because of some concern for my heart. After a couple of hours in the room I was questioned at length by Dr. Day and another cardiologist. The questions were very odd, and both doctors commented that I knew a lot of medical terminology. Dr. Day actually asked me if I would like him to admit me to the hospital for the weekend just so I could catch a break or something similar. There was no reason for me to stay. It was quite bizarre and I got away as soon as I could.

There is no better Doctor. I have been his patient since 2012. He always took extra time to listen to me and my concerns. Always wanted to hear what’s going on in my life. Most doctors want to push you out. He never ever did that. He saved my life and truly works with the hands of god. Thank you Dr Day.

Dr Day saved my life so that definitely weighs on the points. My first meeting, I did not have much interaction because I was in the middle of a heart attack and it was the middle of the night. I had to go back for a second catheterization to check for possible further blockages (all clear), and I will say that he had a great bedside manner. He fully explained everything that was going on, was joking around, and was very friendly.
