Compassionate doctor
Dr. Okolie was one of the doctors who cared for my child when they were in the NICU. She was compassionate and always took the time to explain everything knowing I was an anxious first time mother. My husband and I knew there were sicker babies in the NICU but were always grateful for the care that Dr. Okolie provided for our child. Thankfully we are home now, but we will always remember Dr. Okolie and her team at the University of Maryland NICU.

Most compassionate neonatologist
While being in the NICU is really hard, it is providers like Dr. Okolie and her team that reminded us how lucky we were to be receiving such excellent care. It was clear she cared for our child by how she advocated for our baby’s needs and included us in rounds and decision making. She helped us through many tough nights at the bedside. She reminded us of the resilience of our baby and while no family expects or wishes to be in the NICU- we are forever greatful for her care during our hospital stay.

Compassionate and very smart
Dr. Okolie is an amazing NICU doctor. She cared for my twins while we were at the Mercy NICU for 2 months. She always had time to talk, and answered all the questions I had. Very compassionate, friendly, just amazing!! Excellent bedside manners! One of my twins stayed in the NICU longer, and she helped us figure out what was wrong and helped treat my baby to safely go home. Forever grateful.

Wonderful doctor in the nicu
Dr. Okolie is kind and knowledgeable. She treated my baby like he was her own, compassionate and took the time to talk to me and explain everyone. I see another negative review and it is clearly not true. She is a wonderful NICU doc!!!!
