Poor Communication and No Empathy
Note: This is a correction as Dr. Fred Umeh was not the one who saw me, but Dr. Alabi! Got to see him for 10 minutes. He was polite but very quiet and very little explanation of my breathing test results. He prescribed an COPD drug that was not approved by my insurance and offered to do an allergy test. Got the Generic one and is giving me headaches and no results. Called his office to schedule the allergy test and it took over a week to get someone back to me. I was told today by his staff that I can't do the test until October when I follow up with him as he stated so. I am in so much pain, with headaches, and Dr. Alabi and his team have had very poor patient relationship and empathy.

Amazing Doctor!!
I have been going to see Dr Alabi for 15 years and I would recommend him to anyone who has a sleep disorder. Before I went to Dr Alabi, I saw many doctors that were not able to help me with my sleep disorder. I’m just very grateful that I have him as my sleep doctor.

Wonderful Doctor
I have been to Dr. Alabi twice at the Polynisian office and have nothing but great things to say about him. Excellent bedside manner, takes his time to explain condition and/or results etc... However, trying to communicate with appointment staff or other competent person there is non existent. I have been trying to have an order faxed over to an imaging location for an upcoming appointment since Dec. 2022, and here we are Jan 9, 2023 and still no order. I will not be seen w/o it nor can i keep my appointment to see him for reading--- Get messaging service, text service and NO ONE calls back-- Ineptitude at it's best!!

My beautiful Dr. Alabi has been my best pulmonologist. He has an impressive resume and I highly recommend him. The customer service though is a nightmare. You call and will be lucky if they answer the phone within half an hour. Today I called so that they would relay a message to him and the first person I spoke to hung up the phone on me before I finished speaking. I called again to make sure they got the message and this next person was also rude and hung up the phone on me before I finished speaking also. I don't understand how they can have such unprofessional people working in customer service.

The Dr is very good and the sleep study specialist is fantastic, but the office in Kissimmee is terrible. Leave a message and don’t call back. Nxt day I call and hear a female talking, then hangs up on me! I needed an RX fast and no call back. I left another message, that I heard a female, then hang up, and to this day they never called back even after just having had an overnight sleepover. Faster to drive there than call! I was forced to go somewhere else, guess they don’t need your business!

Excellent pulmonologist! I have mild COPD, asthma and sleep apnea and Dr. Alabi is absolutely wonderful to work with! He and his team work to ensure optimal health in patients through complete testing and followups. Easy communication with the doctor and his staff at all times, as well as ease of scheduling appointments at any of his office locations makes this one of my best experiences with a doctor. Dr. Alabi is knowledgeable, concerned, caring and patient. He takes the time to explain the findings of test results and what can be done to improve the situation if possible. He always answers any questions you may have as a patient and explains them in a way that is easy to understand. All around awesome experience every visit!

Dr. Alabi performed a thoracentisis on my left lung that removed a liter of fluid. He was very professional, fast and painless. He had it draining before I even knew he had started. Very impressive—two thumbs up.

My husband, Bill, passed out and stopped breathing while we were on vacation. We ended up in Celebration Hospital and Doctor Alabi did not allow an incorrect diagnoses. He referred us to the Cardiologist onsite that specialized hi heart arrhythmia and after tests they found he had a 95% blockage in his LAD that caused the incident. The doctors were able to put in a stent. If Doctor Alabi had not stepped forward and double checked the diagnoses there is a good chance my husband would have died.

He & his staff were wonderful, checking on me every day until my release... A VERY caring doctor with a VERY caring staff, & I would recommend them to anyone!!!
